Details have to match perfectly it is the way it is. 1000s of sellers are getting caught out on this one all over. Its the new government act ..They will all hold your money if no perfect match sadly.
TikTok shops are just as bad. Their software really struggles with getting info from scanned documents. As for Vinted, send a Letter Before Action to their UK registered address. Templates are available online. Make sure the LBA states that you'll include costs and legally-allowed interest. Then when the timescale expires, if they haven't paid, put in a Small Claim through the online portal. It's relative quick & cheap, but make sure you do have evidence of the sales you made and can show what you think they owe you as well as including statutory interest and provable costs. In the evidence provided, include copies of the various ID's they asked you for. If it goes to court (and most companies will settle out of court, but again ensure any offer is the full amount so you don't lose out), take the original passport and other ID's with you to show the magistrate. Good luck !
What's been going on,.... The government has put regulations into place so they the platform are legally obliged to notify HMRC if you earn over 1k. It's taxable and they commin for it.
Julie. I had the same issue with my normal Vinted account. I had a few hundred quid on there. I don't have any photo ID. So how I got around this was I bought one or two high end items and used my balance to pay for them and then sold the items on Ebay. It is a long winded way of getting your money but it might be your only way of getting around it.
good idea, but you shouldn't have to! this is out of order! need someone to make some tik toks about it, go viral init! this happened to George, Retro Reselling, he couldn't get verified, and Ricky Resells, they had his money, and just from those two making videos, all the ppl they popped up to help, bc it happened to them too, is insane!!!
Hi Julie, that is totally out of order, I hope you eventually get it sorted. I have a similar problem with Amazon. I've been selling on there for a while, and in December, I decided to change my bank account. They have asked me to reverify my identity (even though they've already had it several times) but I get an error page and can't do it. Like you, I've had lots of emails back and forth. Eventually I managed to get in touch with an actual person, but I'm still waiting for my money, only £107 but as a small business, it's quite a lot of money to me. I've pretty much tried everything at this point, and I'm about ready to give up because I don't know what else I can do. Let us know how you get on with it xxx
Get in touch with Nic & Andrea Hills they had a very similar situation with Ebay. Good luck, beautiful lady. BTW love the hair colour. Just been binge watching your vids as I've been so busy lately. Couldn't believe you & Rob had been in my neck of the Woods. ❤love from Tyneside ❤ XXX
Oh my god so sorry your going through this. I thought about Vinted but honestly don’t trust them so I’m sticking with eBay at least you can speak to humans with them. I had an issue as a buyer on Vinted and customer service was shocking I gave up in the end, hope you sort it sold.
I truly wish I knew how to help but I would be the same as you, as others have just said see what ricky resells did, or definitely small claims my darling. I am going to research and see if theres anything that will help xxx❤
@@Ecoreseller You have to keep messaging them asking them to change your name in the certain place and make it very clear that's the reason it's getting denied, they should change it within a few days. It's difficult I'm a LTD Company and it took weeks to get verified also but finally managed it.
Hope you can get some help mate. Its all I hear and read, this non communication crap with Vinted almost daily. Thanks for the heads up, please do another video when you are sorted. Crossin' em for ya both. PS Sunday's walton street was a washout! should have stayed in bed lol x
you unique tax number would match your passport details as both records are kept by the Government and would be accepted by the tax man this is clearly a Vinted AI issue as so many companies are use AI too much and no common sense is being used anymore Resell ricky has had a similar issue with vinted, and also Nic & Andrea had a similar issue with ebay where no human looked at their details I hope you sort it out soon and a real person looks at the details soon
Ricky Resells was having similar problems with vinted, he did a video of how he eventually sorted it.
I’ve just watched it thank you xxx
considering how crap the basic customer service is with Vinted I’m sadly not surprised.
Me neither 😢 xxx
I would go to the Small Claims Court. Doesn't cost you much, and you should be able to get codts and time back.
I’ll look into this thank you xx

I don’t think small claims will help as Vinted are not a U K company
Hmmmm yes maybe 🤔 x
Hi, have you read through the small print in their Terms & Conditions. Hidden stuff can sometimes come up there.

I refuse to move over to pro..don't trust Vinted at all.
I don’t now 😢 seriously considering leaving it completely as this is ridiculous and you have no one to contact
Not without your money. This will be sorted, as the others said, reach out to Ricky etc., 🍀
There is an email for vinted legal , I would definitely try that
Yes I’ve done it thanks lovely xx
How funny Karen just get your documents copied up to standard then all sorted !
Ricky resells did a video about this some emails he sent worked he gives the email details underneath the video I would try that
Thank you xxx
Are you sure you are not being scammed ?
By vinted? Probably lol 😂
I truly wish I knew how to help but I would be the same as you, as others have just said see what ricky resells did, or definitely small claims my darling. I am going to research and see if theres anything that will help xxx❤
Thank you so much my lovely xxxxxx
Your name on everything needs to match for example John John Smith, if it's Mr J J Smith their system won't match it.
I can’t change any names though that is the problem 😳

What if you have no passport

Wow Julie that's shocking x
