Exciting and promising!! Love all of the characters so far.
But my only pet peeve is that one of the players, Elizabeth, was kind of...disconnected from everyone by oftenly distracting herself with a phone?
Other than that I loved the chemistry, Ulrika is my fave for now. 😊 looking forward!! 👏👏👏

Love the jovial spirit, much like the Seattle by Night. VtM games typically take themselves much too seriously, and such lively takes on the subject are very welcome. Cannot wait to see more!
Don’t want to come of as a hater or like I’m calling anyone out but one of the girls seemed really not into it and was a lot on her phone. I don’t want to mention any names bc I have already seen people commenting the same thing and I don’t want it to seem like it’s becoming a pile on situation. Some said she’s on her phone drawing because it helps her with her anxiety so I’d just suggest maybe she could draw on paper or something? Phones are good to cope with but at one point she’s clearly texting (smiles at her phone, drops it, typing type of movements etc) and that’s just a human thing to get distracted by your phone so I don’t fault her for it. Once again I don’t mean to hate but for me it was off putting and same for others so I think it’s fine if she’s drawing but a possible solution could be drawing in a note book or on paper. Could even be a lil thing in the end of the episode to see what she drew? Could possibly be even related to the episode! I just want to give some semi helpful or constructive feedback and not just pile on for no reason. Much love otherwise!
I really don't understand why it matters to people what a player is physically doing doing these play sessions where visual doesn't matter in the slightest but thank you for being constructive with your comment.
BorkScorpion I have just recently gotten into this type of videos / podcast (not sure what it’s called) and I try to immerse myself to really get into it and understand what’s going on. That the player doesn’t seem into it (by doing other things, or by being distracted overall) makes me a bit like oh if she’s not into it is this even good? If it was just a chill hang out stream and more of a causal game then I wouldn’t mind but I think it being a first episode and a whole game with new characters and whatnot it’s just off putting / distracting. You can usually hear on people’s voices when they are busy or not paying full attention (not saying it was obvious on her!) so some listeners probably picked up on that. I liked her character and I hope she doesn’t take offense and that some people in the comments lay off bc it’s not a big deal.
@@coppermeowmix it's generally pretty disrespectful to be on your phone while at the table like that. Especially since this is being filmed for a fricken audience.

@@coppermeowmix yeah, I usually pull up videos like this when I'm going to bed, eating, reading something (and want background noise), or just whenever I dont feel like looking at my phone. They're not LARPing in costume or anything, so I don't really see anything particularly visually engaging.
So yeah, I'm with you. But a lot of people seem to be pretty invested in staring at these faces... I don't get it, but whatever I guess.

To all the people jumping to the conclusion that Elizabeth is on her phone, she is she is literally holding a pencil & you see the notepaper from time to time. She's sketching, what I imagine is the characters or the scenes, much like Mike does during AI games.

Ugh, I hate it when players are constantly looking at their phones. It's such a pet peeve during my home games and I didnt know it frustrated me even more so when watching a game.

@@scarletmoth1221 we are commenting on a video. You can watch it again where she clearly picks up her phone, giggles to herself, and puts it back down? I watch this on the background of stuff and had to play back what the thump on the table was which was her dropping her phone. And who draws on a tiny phone and with no stylus? It's pretty clear she was distracted this game and would really hope future stuff she has more respect for the GM.

Sounds like a fun premise but Holly on her phone and not paying attention was really distracting and bringing back bad memories of my own D&D campaigns when people weren't immersed in the game and would rather look at their phone instead :/

For all the people commenting about Elizabeth "looking at her phone" 27:30 when she looks down you can literally hear her drawing. Maybe if you paid attention, like you claim you want her to do, you would have noticed that.
So I guess season one of this is only available on the PA patreon? Yeah I'm going to pass then. Not that interested coming in in the middle of the story.
This is designed as the jumping on point! Kind of like a reboot.
I think Patreon is just an early access. I'm only just starting the episode but most people who exclusive Patreon stuff like this tend to make it early access as incentive to support them.
@@patrickgroome9913 They say there are old characters coming back and at least Holly was in old episodes. That doesn't seem like a reboot to me.
And I have never found a "oh you can totally jump on this point here in the middle" satisfying, except once for doctor who and even there I went back and watched the old episodes.

Star wars is a good example of starting in the middle. I don't always need to see the origin story I will rate this by itself.
