Cocora Valley & La Carbonera. To see the tallest Palms 🌴 in the world In Colombias coffee region

In this video I visit the town of salento and do a hike in Cocora valley to see the wax palms. The tallest palms in the world growing up to 80m / 200ft. The following day I decided to go further up in the mountain and visit La Carbonera on a motorbike

and which did you like more, cocora or carbonera?

Cocora is closer and easier to get to so it’s a lot busier and more touristy…. Carbonera is further up in the mountains and takes longer to get to…. A lot less people and there are also a lot more of the Wax Palms 🌴 in Carbonera
