Hello my friend, Greetings from Greece! Racing Vision GT200 has 20% more light intensity but the X-tremeVision Pro150 has about 80% longer lifespan. I think this difference in lifespan makes the X-tremeVision a very advantageous choice
Have been using GT200 and I'm quite happy with the light output but one has burnt after just 6 months (I do drive a lot at night and UK roads are bad). Gonna try Pro150 this time and see if I can accept the lower output while hopefully getting a significantly higher lifespan. The battery needs to come off in my car just to get the bulbs changed due to clearance issues, so replacing them twice a year would be annoying to say at least.
If that is the case, all of them will last about 6 months. A friend of mine gad them for 3 years. It really matters on what roads you drive. The vibrations are burning them fast
Which ones World you recommend based on reaching the longest distance and the most brighest, but not looking and color? Out off all philips range give me top 3, from the best to worst thank you!
RacingVision shine the furthest but the light is not a s bright on the close range and they burn after about 6 months. X-tremeVision again shine very far but they are really warm, warmer than RacingVision, so they give a lesser visibility overall. They burn after 1 year. WhiteVision are very good, the coldest out of the 3 and offer the best visibility on low beams, even if they don't light up the road ahead so far. Even on high beams you'll never feel like you could see better with other halogens. They last 2 years You decide which one is the best for you. I'd go for WhiteVision 3700k everytime.
I'll see what I can do. I only have a set and I need 2 sets to put them on high beams as well. But My thought is they'll be just like RV+150%. That is still very good.
Indeed. I can only recommend them on H4 fitting. For the high beams if you have H7 get them but try not to abuse them in bad roads because the vibrations and the potholes will burn them fast. But that being said for the high beams the RVGT200% would be very good. Keep WhiteVision 3700k on low beams.
@@m3rovingian recently one of my XV +130% failed after over 3,5 years/13000 km/700-800 on/off cycles. I used them at least once a day alternately with LED DRLs and at short distances of usually 6 km per trip. I suppose it would last longer if I did not slam the front hood. Today I ordered a set of XVP +150% but after reading your comments saying they are the same as those older +130% I cancelled the order. In the meantime I switched back from XV +130% to Narva 48328 and I do not see any significant difference! Then I wanted to try RV +200% but I will follow your advice and buy Osram Night Breaker 200 and give it a try. It should last over 20 months in my conditions but maybe longer if I will not slam the hood anymore? 2 years++ would by very satisfying but at first they must provide more light than all of the Philips bulbs.
@@ozieeizo I never recommended OSRAM NB 200 to anyone. All I said is the fact they are the highest measured with the light meter, but as you'll soon see, the difference between them and RV GT200 is minuscule. Osram NB 200 are 50% more expensive than RV GT200 and it makes no sense. If you drove 13.000km in 3.5 years that is not normal use so you can't say they lasted you that long. Even I would now make that distance in 1 year. In any bulb from Osram Night Breaker line will last 20 months it'll be a Guinness Book Miracle. In normal driving conditions on H7 they have a hard time passing 6 months.
@@m3rovingian I did not mean you recommend Osram NB 200 but only that it performs better. Is the difference so minor? In your video comparing both these models obviously the Osram lights the road better and light output is 20% higher when measured at 3 meters. It costs 20% more (seems like 20% more money for 20% more light) on local market and there is even an outlet offer where I could get it at the same price as Philips. How about RV GT200 reliability? The XV +130 did not last long [i did not say "3,5 years is long" :)] and the distance i used them on was also not long, possibly 6000 km due to DRL usage, however I spent 20 eur only per 3,5 years for good lighting at night which is satisfying, then buying better bulbs for half of this period at similar price would also be.
@@ozieeizo In my first test with the light meter on RV GT200 the actual distance was 3,25 meters because I forgot i used a concret tile added to the base of the tire and then from that point I measured 3 meters. In the measurements that followed, including Osram NB 200 I placed the meter roller straight from the tire, without any other concrete tile. Thats why the light meter test showed such different results. I measured RV GT200 again and you'll see the results soon. At the exact 3 meter distance Osram still wins with 300 Fc / 3300 Lux highest reading and RacingVision GT200 have 290 Fc / 3230 Lux. In my country NB 200 are with 50% more expensive than RV GT200. that's why they are not worth it. I'll post the re-measurements soon. Both NB200 and GT200 should last about the same 6 months in normal usage as main source of light at night on the low beams. The XV+130 or Pro150 would go up to 1 year.

What do you think best H7 Philips halogen bulb for projectors? I`m live in South Korea and, here allowed to use H7 LED retrofits for having H7 projector headlights in public road. But i wonder which philips halogen H7 bulb is good for projectors.

Salut! \o/ Asa a fimat camera acum ca au reasfaltat drumul si are o culoare mai inchisa, e normal sa apara ca nu lumineaza la fel de bine. Noile becuri sunt exact ca generatia anterioara, doar ca intr-un nou ambalaj. Asta-i opinia mea. Le-au cosmetizat si au scris altceva pe ambalaj ca sa para mai bune :) XV Pro150 sunt exact ca XV+130% la fel si RV.

Get Philips X-tremeVision Pro150. They will be a bit warmer than RacingVision GT200, but on that fitting there isn't anything better at this moment. Although they are lower in brightness compared to RacingVision GT200, for highbeam they will be very good. All the best from Romania!
@@m3rovingian I actually bought xtreme vision considering the price and more life. The option what I got here was xtrebme pro 150, racing vision 150. There was a $7 difference between 2 and racing vision was not 200. So gone for xtreme vision. Yet tio test it though

I was keen on RV 200 but the shop ran out. Paid 30e. NB 150 were 5e less but still went for phillips, liked the less blue bulb.
Thank you so much! I hope you'll be pleased with them. Just don't expect pure white light of LED/xenon brightness. Compared to RV GT200, XV Pro150 will be very warm at daytime but at night they will shine relly good and will be a bit colder, yet still with a yellowish light color on the road. Make sure not to touch the glass of the bulb or scratch it in any way during the installation. Normally they should last 1 year without a problem.
Dont mind the yellowish thats why i got them. Longevity is the downside to all of those premium Halogens Osram or Phillips. What would you reccomend if someone wanted a longer lasting bulb with decent light? Anything better then just original regular ones? 30 to 50% better light but last as much?
@@Serbozoid I would still recommend the cheapest halogen out of Philips RV GT200 or OSRAM NB 200. If you drive on good quality roads, the RV GT200 can last up to 3 years.
Not the best roads a lot of city driving, speed bumps etc thats why i was asking what is the next best thing to have apart from GT, NB, xtreme vision etc… on my previous car i had xenons with new projectors done by professionals. I know that can never be matched by any halogen or led because everything is set up how it should be. But that costs 200/300e where i’m from.

Najsjajniji su OSRAM Night Breaker 200, a slijedi ga Philips RacingViison GT200. Dobio bih najjeftinije +200% halogena i zaboravio na čisto bijelo svjetlo od njih. Ako želite čisto bijelo svjetlo i nevjerojatnu vidljivost, morate kupiti ACUMA Nova-S +600% 6500K 20.000 lumena LED.

Racing Vision GT200 has 20% more light intensity but the X-tremeVision Pro150 has about 80% longer lifespan. I think this difference in lifespan makes the X-tremeVision a very advantageous choice

Have been using GT200 and I'm quite happy with the light output but one has burnt after just 6 months (I do drive a lot at night and UK roads are bad). Gonna try Pro150 this time and see if I can accept the lower output while hopefully getting a significantly higher lifespan. The battery needs to come off in my car just to get the bulbs changed due to clearance issues, so replacing them twice a year would be annoying to say at least.
If that is the case, all of them will last about 6 months. A friend of mine gad them for 3 years. It really matters on what roads you drive. The vibrations are burning them fast
@Desi Traveller Impressive lifespan. It was time for an upgrade, even if it didn't burn out. Get RV GT200. They are the best halogens right now.

Which ones World you recommend based on reaching the longest distance and the most brighest, but not looking and color? Out off all philips range give me top 3, from the best to worst thank you!
RacingVision shine the furthest but the light is not a s bright on the close range and they burn after about 6 months.
X-tremeVision again shine very far but they are really warm, warmer than RacingVision, so they give a lesser visibility overall. They burn after 1 year.
WhiteVision are very good, the coldest out of the 3 and offer the best visibility on low beams, even if they don't light up the road ahead so far. Even on high beams you'll never feel like you could see better with other halogens. They last 2 years
You decide which one is the best for you. I'd go for WhiteVision 3700k everytime.
Try to test them on high beam, at late night (with low traffic), it is interesting to see racing vision high beam vs plus vision high beam.
I'll see what I can do. I only have a set and I need 2 sets to put them on high beams as well. But My thought is they'll be just like RV+150%. That is still very good.

Indeed. I can only recommend them on H4 fitting. For the high beams if you have H7 get them but try not to abuse them in bad roads because the vibrations and the potholes will burn them fast. But that being said for the high beams the RVGT200% would be very good. Keep WhiteVision 3700k on low beams.

I had a friend that used RacingVision GT200 for 3 years. It depends on what roads you drive on, if they are ok or bad.
Why you did not measure light outbut of the XVP at 3 meters to find exact difference?
I will soon. I will also test them on rain, like I did tonight with RVGT200. i will post the videos in the days that follow.
@@m3rovingian recently one of my XV +130% failed after over 3,5 years/13000 km/700-800 on/off cycles. I used them at least once a day alternately with LED DRLs and at short distances of usually 6 km per trip. I suppose it would last longer if I did not slam the front hood. Today I ordered a set of XVP +150% but after reading your comments saying they are the same as those older +130% I cancelled the order. In the meantime I switched back from XV +130% to Narva 48328 and I do not see any significant difference! Then I wanted to try RV +200% but I will follow your advice and buy Osram Night Breaker 200 and give it a try. It should last over 20 months in my conditions but maybe longer if I will not slam the hood anymore? 2 years++ would by very satisfying but at first they must provide more light than all of the Philips bulbs.
@@ozieeizo I never recommended OSRAM NB 200 to anyone. All I said is the fact they are the highest measured with the light meter, but as you'll soon see, the difference between them and RV GT200 is minuscule. Osram NB 200 are 50% more expensive than RV GT200 and it makes no sense. If you drove 13.000km in 3.5 years that is not normal use so you can't say they lasted you that long. Even I would now make that distance in 1 year. In any bulb from Osram Night Breaker line will last 20 months it'll be a Guinness Book Miracle. In normal driving conditions on H7 they have a hard time passing 6 months.
@@m3rovingian I did not mean you recommend Osram NB 200 but only that it performs better. Is the difference so minor? In your video comparing both these models obviously the Osram lights the road better and light output is 20% higher when measured at 3 meters. It costs 20% more (seems like 20% more money for 20% more light) on local market and there is even an outlet offer where I could get it at the same price as Philips.
How about RV GT200 reliability? The XV +130 did not last long [i did not say "3,5 years is long" :)] and the distance i used them on was also not long, possibly 6000 km due to DRL usage, however I spent 20 eur only per 3,5 years for good lighting at night which is satisfying, then buying better bulbs for half of this period at similar price would also be.
@@ozieeizo In my first test with the light meter on RV GT200 the actual distance was 3,25 meters because I forgot i used a concret tile added to the base of the tire and then from that point I measured 3 meters. In the measurements that followed, including Osram NB 200 I placed the meter roller straight from the tire, without any other concrete tile. Thats why the light meter test showed such different results. I measured RV GT200 again and you'll see the results soon. At the exact 3 meter distance Osram still wins with 300 Fc / 3300 Lux highest reading and RacingVision GT200 have 290 Fc / 3230 Lux. In my country NB 200 are with 50% more expensive than RV GT200. that's why they are not worth it.
I'll post the re-measurements soon.
Both NB200 and GT200 should last about the same 6 months in normal usage as main source of light at night on the low beams.
The XV+130 or Pro150 would go up to 1 year.

You cnnot ignore the price because the difference between the most powerfull +200% halogens is insignificant in the grand scheme of things. That's why the best choice is the lowest in price, which is still Philips RacingVision GT200 halogen. For LEDs the HIKARI 2023 Titanova and ACUMA Nova-S +600% LEDs are unmatched.

Ciao! Dipende da che strade percorri. Se sono in buone condizioni possono durare anche 3 anni. È così che hanno tenuto un mio buon amico. Se ci sono strade con buche, la loro durata diminuisce. RacingVision GT200 sono i migliori. Io dico che se ti tengo 1 anno puoi ritenerti soddisfatto.

Asa a fimat camera acum ca au reasfaltat drumul si are o culoare mai inchisa, e normal sa apara ca nu lumineaza la fel de bine.
Noile becuri sunt exact ca generatia anterioara, doar ca intr-un nou ambalaj. Asta-i opinia mea. Le-au cosmetizat si au scris altceva pe ambalaj ca sa para mai bune :)
XV Pro150 sunt exact ca XV+130% la fel si RV.

Get Philips X-tremeVision Pro150. They will be a bit warmer than RacingVision GT200, but on that fitting there isn't anything better at this moment. Although they are lower in brightness compared to RacingVision GT200, for highbeam they will be very good. All the best from Romania!

Furthermore the amount of questions you answer show your patience and determination to subscirbers (even though a lot of the questions were the same). Today I chose xTreme 150 over NB 150. I was keen on RV 200 but the shop ran out. Paid 30e. NB 150 were 5e less but still went for phillips, liked the less blue bulb.
Thank you so much! I hope you'll be pleased with them. Just don't expect pure white light of LED/xenon brightness. Compared to RV GT200, XV Pro150 will be very warm at daytime but at night they will shine relly good and will be a bit colder, yet still with a yellowish light color on the road. Make sure not to touch the glass of the bulb or scratch it in any way during the installation. Normally they should last 1 year without a problem.
Dont mind the yellowish thats why i got them. Longevity is the downside to all of those premium Halogens Osram or Phillips. What would you reccomend if someone wanted a longer lasting bulb with decent light? Anything better then just original regular ones? 30 to 50% better light but last as much?
@@Serbozoid I would still recommend the cheapest halogen out of Philips RV GT200 or OSRAM NB 200. If you drive on good quality roads, the RV GT200 can last up to 3 years.
Not the best roads a lot of city driving, speed bumps etc thats why i was asking what is the next best thing to have apart from GT, NB, xtreme vision etc… on my previous car i had xenons with new projectors done by professionals. I know that can never be matched by any halogen or led because everything is set up how it should be. But that costs 200/300e where i’m from.

Najsjajniji su OSRAM Night Breaker 200, a slijedi ga Philips RacingViison GT200. Dobio bih najjeftinije +200% halogena i zaboravio na čisto bijelo svjetlo od njih. Ako želite čisto bijelo svjetlo i nevjerojatnu vidljivost, morate kupiti ACUMA Nova-S +600% 6500K 20.000 lumena LED.

Это заметно даже глазами. Не в лучшем смысле, но оно есть. XV Pro150 более тусклый и желтый по сравнению с RV GT200.
