Например, класс арматурной стали АIV(А600) - марка С80 с содержанием углерода от 0.74 до 0.82% прекрасно поддается закалке. Согласно зарубежным стандартам, для производства арматуры также используется немало марок не просто с высоким содержанием углерода, но и легированных хромом, марганцем, алюминием и т.д.

Curieux, le fer a béton est un acier doux qui n’est pas destiné a faire des outils de coupe…prenez plutôt de l’acier à ressort beaucoup plus adapté à ce genre d’utilisation.

Pseudo Heat treatment on an non hardenable steel and still trying to hammer it after the pseudo quench is a joke ..., and it does not even cut in 1 time the grass ... Why not use spring steel and make a more durable tool ... This one gonna last 1 week and go to dusbin after that

@@asdertrender7555 if you do just a little bit of research you will find new rebar goes for approximately $3-7 for a 10ft stick while a scrap yard will charge you around $25-40 for a coil spring. Also used coil springs can be rather dangerous to work with do to the stress they are put through which can cause micro fractures and cracks that will ruin the work you put in to making the blade so most bladesmiths opt for buying new spring steel from a distributor which will usually run you approximately $10-55 per piece depending on size/weight of course...

He did put i back into the fire for a temper, just by looking at the oxidation spectrum. Old japanese masters used to temper like this inmediatly after quenching, just like him

depends on what grade it is 40 is A36 and not hardenable, Grades 60, 80, and 100 are equivalent to roughly 1045, 1060, and 1070 and can be hardened.
