Man, I might want to go to Myrtle Beach just for Peaches. It's something I've debated for a while. My dad used to take us to Myrtle each year as a kid throughout the 80s and 90s and we always ate at Peaches at least once or twice during our stay. Sadly, I have not been back to Myrtle since '96. I've wanted to return, but honestly I've been afraid it would just depress me. My father passed in '01, then the Pavillion, which was the highlight of my childhood trips, was demolished. It just seems like all that is left that would bring back good memories is Peaches and the Gay Dolphin. Maybe its time, though. I only live about 3 hours away from there now.
Thanks for sharing this. We too have family that have passed on that are deeply tied to our memories of our new home here in the Smokies. I can personally state that living here has brought a sense of comfort and, in a way, pays homage to those memories. I also understand that everyone grieves in their own way. We have on other occasions, where our content features rapid flashing lights, put such disclaimers. Would have never thought to do it with movement. Despite our best efforts to be mindful of such things, and as we just do TH-cam in our spare time, it is difficult. Apologies.
