Soaking almonds overnight and removing skin and consuming the soaked almonds in empty stomach is the recommended way of consuming. The skin of the nut contains tannins, which prevent the complete absorption of nutrients.Moreover, the skin is hard to digest as well.

Adding jaggery to milk we need to be cautious. First boil the jaggery separately and strain the juice. Once the milk and carrot are cooked, keep the flame very very low and add the jaggery juice. Do not boil in high flame as it will curdle.

We can cook the carrot in pressure cooker, mash it like a puree and then boil in milk that way it will not get stuck in baby throat.
