One minor thing one could wish for is maybe some more period pictures and a more hands on showcase of the track and facilities. Still though this is the kind of content I want to see more creators work towards, using simracing as a tool to tell great stories. Thank you for making this!

Jim Hall ran the Chevrolet effort in the TransAm in 1970. Hall drove a Camero but replaced himself mid season with Vic Elford. So he didn't retire from racing until 1970.

Great information, love your work! Do you know if anyone has recreated Continental Divide Raceway road track for sim racing? The track was in operation in the '60's just south of Castle Rock, Colorado.
This is one track that, yeah, even with quite limited elevation change and the, some might say "boring" desert setting, was really quite good as far as I'm concerned. Of course, other good road courses in the desert include(d) Willow Springs and Riverside. And you have Bridgehampton and Zandvoort built among the sand dunes. In addition to Can-Am and USAC Indy Car, USRRC and Trans-Am visited Stardust. In addition to Stardust, other western US road courses that might be nice to see some content on would be Seattle Int'l Raceway/Pacific Raceways (yes, I know it's still around), the old Laguna Seca layout, and Continental Divide Raceway. Looking farther east, Greenwood Roadway and Meadowdale Int'l Raceway come to mind. Also among the largely forgotten would be Augusta Int'l Raceway.
If you haven't done so already, do one on the pre-war config for SPA. That was the one that goes left instead of through the first turn after the start.
That's quite a piece of history there, one that I didn't know about. I was of the opinion that Vegas's only meaningful contribution to motor racing was the Caesar's Palace Grand Prix in 1981 - not one of F1's greatest decisions.
On another note, a long time ago "Stardust" was used as the project code name for an armored space station that could destroy an entire planet...and we all know how THAT turned out!
Often wondered what happened to this venue. I am guessing that the mob used this place and it's construction and events to launder money. I have seen some films of the Can Am races there, seems to me they were rather good events.
Unfortunately I think LOTS of illegal activity is going on "under the blanket" in real life motorsports today, otherwise it wouldn't still be operating under these economic conditions.
