* DROOL * Scania V8 Sound, ahh... I vacationed in Scotland in 2008 in Arrowchar and got to see my first Scania Timbertruck owned by Ferguson Transport. 2008 Scania R480. The driver revved up the engine for me and I fell in love with Scania. We dont have that kind of logging system and road regulations where I live to use a timber truck configured like that. We have full treelength, 8 foot [2.5m] shotgun and 16 foot [5.0m] shotgun. Usually a straight 48 foot [14.6m] or 53 foot [16.3m] trailer with 4 or 5 axles. Even self loader, the loader crane will be put in the middle of a trailer to load front and back.
