dece74 sniper elite 4, on higher difficulty, is the closest I’ve found to realistic. Still not perfect but a game can only do so much. But you’re right. You can not run up behind someone without them at least stopping to look highs themselves.

Crawling for a pistol is a staple of Call of Duty at this point.
You know, when playing the original Call of Duty, I I always hated knowing that no matter how skillful I was, certain sections of a level at Veteran were impossible to do. Sadly it looks like that is still a thing 10+ years later. These moments where you have to take ridiculous amounts of fire ruin the buzz of playing on Veteran. It takes away the skill of it and throws you into a hail of bullets that are unrealistically difficult (read: completely down to luck and not skill dependant) to get past.
Took me weeks to complete WaW in Veteran difficulty.

I haven't seen much of Shadow of War, but I remember by the end of Shadow of Mordor I was basically a god. No enemy could even come close to defeating me. It was cool, but that feeling didn't last.
what is sad is, despite how much Call of ""Noobs"" WW2 sucks, they will probally be the best seller of this year, if not in first place mabye second,because pretty much all their players are fucking kids of 10 to 12 years old, and them we have Really Good games((Naughty Dog)) and others, Fantastic games, where you can see they but effort in to their project and Still CANT COMPITE with COD WW2 in terms of sales, ITS SUPER DEPRESSING AND SAD, do you agree with me????? or not?????? pleasse answer back!!!!
I think Call of Duty is so successful because it's so easier to jump in and play. The learning curve is not that steep and matches are short and sweet. I think it's popular because anyone can play it no matter what mood they're in or skill level. You can be a hardcore gamer or you can be a casual gamer and you'll have a good time.

Kevin Rosson That would have been pretty cool, except that's not what he was using. He had an M1911 with a suppressor on it, which I can't find any record of the US using in WWII.
I actually would've preferred if he had been using a welrod because even a suppressed .45 isn't as quiet as depicted in this. A suppressed 1911 makes approximately 157 decibels(db) of noise, while the welrod only makes 73db. To give some context to those that don't know, a jet take-off from 25 meters away is recorded as being 150db, which is enough to rupture your eardrums without any ear protection. So right off the bat, the .45 is louder than that. However, 73db is recorded as being about as loud as a passenger car. That's a huge difference if you're trying to be stealthy and the guards should have definitely heard them.
I know "it's just a video game" but a lot of people still don't know the difference in real life and they just think all suppressors (or "silencers" as they incorrectly call them) make guns as quiet as a mouse, which simply isn't true.
The first Medal of Honor had super supressors too, but why no one trashes that game because of it?

The SVT-40 was a good semi-auto rifle, I can't see why they wouldn't distribute captured rifles.

i hate how you leave bodies everywhere and you see other Nazi soldiers spot the bodies .. yet they whisper and dont use some sort of alarm .. so unrealistic .. even Hitman games knew how sht works in RL

TheGrippin This is actually correct. Many Russian weapons the German conquered were transported to the western battle, because of the two battles at same time the German military had problems in the West with their weapon support.

Don't get me wrong but I had a BF1 game and it looked weird to me. The huge stockpile of automatic weapons in WW1, the boring 1 man army levels in campaign it just doesn't feel like WW1 to me.
