Thank you. The next tutorial will cover the 3-point turn, which, combined with this reverse ability, will help you create a truly intelligent vehicle AI.
My car AI just drives in to the wall it didnt do that before this video so the problem must be something i did wrong but if you know how to fix this tell me, i found this out at about 1:25:30
@@ogbCreations This tutorial isn’t complete the feature. You can continue to complete tutorial 5. If the problem still exist, there might be some mistake in your node.
In the video at 52:00 of the "multi sphere for channel" node, the returned impact location is always 0, 0, 0. This causes the function to not run as expected. My engine version is 5.3.💔
Is this working with UE 5.1? Or do i something wrong inside VisualStudio? because while editing MySplineComponent.cpp, I've got several errors, and project' started won't open anymor. Fortunately i had back-ups to restor.
If you start create the project in recent version, you can't down grade the project version. Unreal Engine is more straightforward to update. This project should work on any version 5.0+, but you need to create it in that version from start.
@@jourverse I am working with 5.1 from start, successfully implemented tutorial series 1 and 2. I have skipped the 3rd video which i don't need for my game. But while trying this, VisualBasic does not build the MySplineComponent.cpp
@@art-chitectI think you should follow Tutorial 3 as well, because it will be used later to detect obstacles. There might be another reason causing MySplineComponent not to build. You can check the error in Visual Studio.
I love this series. Outstanding work mate!
@@Nangalad Thank you. I’m trying my best.
