It was quite nice and I followed the instructions on the packet but the sauce was terribly thick & gloopy. Made it for the two of us. My gf & I liked the taste but it was inedible as it was so thick. What have I done wrong mate?
If you want to make the chicken like the Chinese (so its really moist and soft) stick it in cornflour, soy and a little baking soda for half an hour then boil in water until cooked, cool and then add to the curry. Thats how they make their chicken a lot moister and softer. Class video as always
It's called velveting and there's no need for cornflour or boiling. Just coat the meat in bicarb, leave to marinate in the fridge for 30 mins, rinse off bicarb, pat dry and cook.

Mate, much as I like🌶️🌶️🌶️, sometimes only a Chinese chippy curry, korma or katsu will do🤤. Gotta be half n' half rice/chips with Chinese for me, though👍
