Thanks for the video, I had a problem I did the same as you did, but the battery drain so fast like 1 min and no energy left even though I charged them for hours where I did wrong?
Note: Batteries need proper cooling (remember to put atleast 10 cm of air around them and some big holes to get proper passive cooling) and their voltage should not exceed 5 volts or the charging board voltage rating (if it auto-scales down volts), also, if you don't want to break something PLEASE don't put them in series

None None There are lots of boards you can use. The easiest way is using a TP4056 with battery protection and a step up with usb out. :) Those are really cheap. ;)

Hi, does the board your using turn off if the current draw from the device is too low? I'm looking to build something that powers a low current device, and most powerbanks switch off.
Also is there any balancing across the batteries, to maintain the lifespan?

If you get the 2nd gen TP4056 micro-USB charge boards from ebay or amazon (the ones with separate battery and output connections) then they won't switch off while supplying low current and also have over and under voltage protection - however if you try to charge them while supplying power to an external device you might find they don't charge the batteries as efficiently as when output is disabled (seems a bit hit and miss - I think because it uses some current sensing as part of the charge cycle which the output interferes with). There is no balancing going on here and if the individual batteries aren't closely matched there is the potential for long term issues - as the pre-made boards can be had cheap - a pack of 5 can be had for like 2 dollar or pound or whatever your currency is for parallel configurations its pretty easy to set them up either with individual charge boards or in smaller groups (use diodes like the 1N5818 on the outputs).
Fairly easy, cool aswell.

So now I think there is no risk in making this and charging my phone
first u should balance charge all the 18650 batteries, then use it...u have also used very thin wires it should not handle 2 amps.
You can either do it this way, or find a old or damaged powerbank , replace the batteries and reuse the casing, better looking and safer too, or the easiest way, just go and buy a new powerbank 🤣

thats what I was thinking, the 18650 cells are 3.7 volt and UBS Nom is 5V unless some of them are (S) and some are (P)?
the board would still charge right and adjust charge based on draw? and a simple buck/boost chip on the board would make it a clean 5V out

Nice cut-and-paste battery bank build. The only problem I can see at first is that while you show some generic charging circuit board, there was no indication of any balancing control circuits for the 6 lithium batteries.
all the batteries were set in parellel, they will self balance..the only issue is the author didnt check for battery health for each individual cell

the most simple way is you can use the mobile charger circuit...remove transformer and at that point .add the 4 volt battery connected in parallel
