Youve made me laugh, youve made me listen and you have taught me. Thank you so much. Im so grateful to God for having me start my Christian walk at BGT back in '73. Oh I have strayed so many times when emotionally handicapped but God chased me and never let me go, Praise His Name!! Anyway just want you to know one of your old converts so enjoys yr preaching still. May God continue to bless you (and yr family) with health and joy 😊

Jesus taught the religious leaders in Jerusalem by quoting Psalm 110:1. The Apostle Peter preached from Psalm 16, fulfilled prophecy. For David says of Him, ‘I saw the LORD always in my presence; For He is at my right hand, so that I will not be shaken. ‘Therefore my heart was glad and my tongue exulted; Moreover my flesh also will live in hope; Because You will not abandon my soul to Hades, Nor allow Your Holy One to undergo decay. ‘You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of gladness with Your presence.’ “Brethren, I may confidently say to you regarding the patriarch David that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. And so, because he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn to him with an oath to seat one of his descendants on his throne, he looked ahead and spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that He was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did His flesh suffer decay. This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear. For it was not David who ascended into heaven, but he himself says: ‘The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’ Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ-this Jesus whom you crucified.” - Acts 2:25-36 This is way more than just poetic, this is prophetic. How can you say and teach people that the Psalms are not for doctrine; teaching beliefs? Remember teachers will face a stricter judgment.
One time I saw pastor Jim in Binghamton and He was on the sidewalk so I wanted to shake his hand because I was so blessed when I saw a music video with testimonies like Calvin but he looked scared of me then it made me nervous so I didn’t know how to say what was in my heart. Well that’s my awkward story.
It is refreshing to hear a pastor teaching the people not just to read the Bible but how to read the Bible. Thank you Lord!
