well technically with the destroyed HP and the DOTS... the damage is the same... yes the dots take LESS HP overall but DOTS is % based... so it always takes 5% of the target HP... so effectively it stays the same.. i would argue that dots with destroyed HP is even better because like seanb said.. u can kill them easily with normal damage from your units

Well, the damage % is always the same at 5%, but due to the less total HP the actual damage will be less.
