When someone else starts crying, I always start crying. Like, i can't help it. The floodgates just open and I'm sitting there sobbing. I felt so bad for you because I know how it feels. When I got my first cat, Moxie, my sister came to visit and I has thought she had gotten outside because I could not find her. So I started bawling and here the little stinker was under a cabinet.
That happened to me too. We went out to a party once, and didn't see the cat on the way out. When we returned 5 hours later we couldn't find her. Turns out she hopped into my moms closet when she got dressed
my mom, when I was really little like 3 or 4, we had a cat named Tesa (she died like 4 years ago) she went missing, and my mom went looking everywhere, humane society everyday after work, and finally after 3 months.. we found her. my mom said she was never the same..
That happened to me too, I couldn't find my cat at night, and I thought he was just hiding somewhere so I went to bed and In the morning I looked everywhere, I started crying because I thought he was gone. I went outside, looked around the corner. Nothing. So as I went inside to get a bell so I could call him, and he ran up to my legs and I hugged him like crazy. That means he must have been outside the night I couldn't find him. We are only babysitting him.😨😳
You could try training the kitties to stay away from the laundry like you do with the counters, it is NEVER fun to be worried about your furbabies. On a lighter note, thank you for sharing your new house experience with us! Super happy for you guys, having a house is awesome! :D

I burst into tears when you "lost" Midna 😭 so glad she's safe! It can be so scary when your pet goes missing, sometimes my dog doesn't answer when I call for him to come inside and I panic, but 9 times out of 10 he's just being stubborn and wanting to stay outside. You're a wonderful pet mother. 😺
I have only just started watching your vlogs, and I absolutely love you! And I totally sympathize with you where Midna is concerned. My pup decided he was going to dart out of our backyard a few months back and I found him playing in the street. Luckily he ran as soon as we called him but I held onto him for hours after that. Animals are definitely family! ❤

THE FEELS ;__; well i know how it feels... when my cat was 1year old i searched for him for hours and could find him. he fell out of the window (4 floors) and broke his leg. My mum found him outside. I cried for an hour, i thought he was dead when i couldn't find him so i had to lean foward out of the kitchen window, my heart beating really really hard hoping i won't see him dead on the grass. He wasn't, thank god. since then i'm just terrified whenever i don't know where my cat is
This happened to me too!! My cat jumped off my 4th story balcony once and broke his leg and I was sobbing looking for him, since he was missing for hours beforehand and a puppy we had once fell off that same balcony and passed away sadly. D;
same here my cat got out the house when I wasn't home n my said she looked for hours(2) and soon as I started to cry wit the front door open my lil baby stuck her head out to eat the food I left at the entrance and as soon as she saw me ran right to me. I was crying butt off like a baby
I once had a three legged cat and she got stuck under the stairs and she couldn't get out or breath I swear I've never ripped a stair case apart faster. (Or any stair case)
We had to do the same thing with our coffee maker. It's close to the sink now and we can pull the water sprayer and put the water in that way though, so that's a plus.

I have two myself TomTom and Sunny, boys, they aren't allowed out at nighttime but in the day they can come and go as they please but they are home cats really 😻 I love them and would be soooo sad if anything happened to them. Omg that was the saddest thing about Midna! I'm so glad you found her! Kitties have a big place to roam now and they won't be easy to find all the time. Especially curious little babies like those two! :) I have had that issue before with our kitties and we kinda try to seal them off from specific rooms. We close the doors to rooms that are not in use and all doors (except litter box room) when we leave the house. Just a suggestion, hope it helps :) Congrats on your new home!

I relate so hard for when you got upset about Midna!! I moved house in the summer of 2015 and my cat was really scared - we put her in my parents room so she was around familiar things, I went to check on her after a few hours and she was gone!! I started freaking out thinking she'd ran away and I looked all over for her.... At 10pm that night, my dad found her under ALL the duvet and pillows of my mum's bed. She had been there that whole time, peacefully sleeping. I was so annoyed but so happy to see my precious kitty :3 I love your blogs!

So, I’m sitting on the floor of my closet prepping for fall and organizing my too many scarves, and you started squeaking frantically. And I was like, wait, rewind, rewind. Then I’m all tearing up and swallowing hard to keep from crying, and Baylee, my heart broke for yours. Just to let you know, I traveled back to 2016 Baylee and gave her a HUGE squishy mama bear hug!! She really needed it. ♥️ Glad it all worked out in the end and I’ll just continue time jumping and cheering you on. 😉
Girl, you got me seriously crying when I saw you in tears. I can totally understand. Our washer is a front loader, so it locks once you turn it on. We have a cat, and cats do what cats do, and I always check 2,3, a million times before I close the washer or dryer door just to make sure there is no cat in there. Sometimes when I am really paranoid I'll pat the clothes in there, you know, just to make sure. And even then, once the machine turns on, I'm never really calm until I hunt the kitten down. LOL! So I understand. Like you said, you've learned a lesson, and it wasn't in a bad way. Be sure to pass the news on to you fella to double check too before turning on the machines. No worries, you'll get into a habit of it and stress a little less over it. :-)

Furniture shopping... how fun!!! I went to Interior Design school and, even 'tho I never got into it professionally, I love decorating homes! Love that ornate picture frame you got! Do you have Hobby Lobby in Canada? Love shopping for home accessories there!

We always knew when our kitty would get stuck into a closet, because she would scratch and make the bell jingle. And there are softer sounding bells. 2) $60 kids play area gate with the "door" section around the laundry machines would help keep them out of both the dryer, and that area behind the water heater, but still give you access everything.
I'm always early for the vlogs and torn between the desire to watch them now vs waiting for hq.. this is how I end up watching vlogs several times in a row. xD
