Ahhhhhh yes some balsa dust and glue always warms a heart. A heads up, since I bought an inferred thermometer I've ckd the iron temps &boy there's a difference in heel& toe now I've got a reference to the number dial, even the Coverite Century 21 w/temp dial it's off. Enjoy. I'm jst finishing up to maiden an ACE SUPER PACER w/OS 32f 46" 408 sq 53oz it'll be interesting 😊
She really loved that. I had it out for about three days. I put rubber bands on the controllers to keep the track energized. She would knock them off the track then come find me to tell me that they were off so i could out them back on. When she got tired she would sleep by the track too. She was a bit upset when i put it away.
Good luck on your build! I know Brodak sells Colored dope & I was thinking about useing a refillable paint can that you pressurize with a bike pump or shop air with it. Yeah lusterCote went the way of the DoDo... Testors also sells an airbrush that uses a pressurized canister but its a bit fine & there is another spray can that uses disposable canisters too that looked interesting to me. Im into control line Model Airplane stuff & found 3 models from my youth that I want to build again in order of difficulty. The 1st 2 are n.o.s. sterling models kits, The Shoestring & The Ringmaster. The 3rd is a large profile plane built off plans from an old Flying models Magizine Titled The Excalibur! I found enlarged plans for it off eBay but it will need a really thick pice of balsa wood for the profile fuselage yet. I need to learn as much as I can about building methods & am looking forward to your build...Cheers✌👍
Well this isn’t so much a build as it is simply just covering the wing. There are things that must be done in order to have the wing completed to cover. After it is covered nothing more is happening with this airplane.
Great to see some woodwork! I always like to see the different approaches of people to get those things done.👍
Learned 3 channels. Good stuff there. Coverite Iron for the Win. Best iron ever.
2:47 use water and iron to reduce this dent in your trailing edge.

When it came to the slot car she was like what kind of mouse is this??? Just too funny.

@@dmrcflyr2 I respect that.
Klasskote but its expensive
Without ailerons it’s very slow to respond on rolls!
I’m well aware of how an airplane with and without ailerons flies.
@ ok, I have no idea what you’re flying experience is. Note taking!
@ Well I’ve been in the hobby since 1988. I have built and flown many types of aircraft and owned literally hundreds of engines.
Never mind
