The connection between visual and mental focus is fascinating-using our eyes to train our brain to stay engaged makes perfect sense. I appreciate the practical tip of focusing visually for 60-120 seconds to enhance attention.
Thank you I’ve suffered attention disorder all my life Only now at 76 when very many sad events happened to me and my attention failed completely, did I hear first words of real help
Sir please make a video on maintaining mental sanity and practices we can adopt in our daily routine which would help us remain calm and composed under pressure. Please sir, its highly needed.
Awesome information, I watch Andrew's podcast and clips. This topic is important , we all get caught up in our phones and social media. Lately I have been reading books instead. Going to buy his book Protocols . Thank you for sharing.
In a video I watched just before this you were going over the top five learning methods used by top medical students. How does that apply to somebody with ADHD who often can’t control the focus portion of their brain and the struggle to transition their short term to long-term memory That has been identified with ADHD?
I get restless legs too - what helps me is to exercise or go for a walk - I only notice restless legs when I am not active enough during the day and then my legs feel restless at night
Curious where watching an informative video like this falls on the "active reading text" vs. "passive viewing a motion picture" spectrum. Would I be better off (i.e. have a higher likelihood of staying focused, of retaining the information provided) if I was reading the script of Huberman's video rather than watching him speak?
Interesting question, I am recovering from mild concussion and been told no scrolling screens, so I am reading the text at a slowed rate (x0.75) and I can focus, and concentrate, and remember more. So for me reading is helping, and I notice my tinnitus starts up when I need to stop reading and go "no stimulus", i.e 10 mins of resting my brain. Hope that feedback is useful.
How 8s this affected be meares ielne syndrome- what's the research, also what is auditory concen tration called, are there good ways to improve it so you can mitigate visal fatigue, although in auditory you tend to creat images when reading you run images and sound track in your head so possibly it all integrates neurobiologically then redistributed to relevant areas to produce the experiences?
Great video coverage watching the crypto market's ups and downs shows how quickly things can change. In crypto, strategic, informed trading isn't a choice; it's a must. Remember, caution is as crucial as ambition here. This dedication to continuous learning is inspiring...grew my reserve of around $87k in Bitcoin to $246k... Investing in Bitcoin is the wisest asset to be in, not trying to shit on other stocks, it just won’t outperform Bitcoin over pretty much any long time horizon…reality over feelings!!
Without a doubt! Shea Ardolf is a trader who goes above and beyond. She has an exceptional skill for analyzing market movements and spotting profitable opportunities. Her strategies are meticulously crafted based on thorough research and years of practical experience.
Bitcoin's role as a store of value and its potential for future growth make it an attractive investment option. BTC trading can be a thrilling way to participate in this digital asset's journey.

What are the 5 steps in the Pomodoro Technique? There are 6 major steps to the Pomodoro Technique: Identify a task or tasks that you need to complete. Set a timer for 25 minutes. Work on a task with no distractions. When the alarm sounds, take a 5-minute break. Repeat the process 3 more times. Take a longer 30-minute break and start again Paradoma technique.
I find it so incredibly weird that all those videos about focus, still use extremely distracting retention editing, where images keep changing on the screen... As I've just had a recent dopamine detox, I cannot handle this, and I won't be watching videos from this channel sadly...
Sorry to hear that, but we try to edit the videos in an engaging way in order to help viewers focus on the content. With the topic of focus, it’s especially important not to assume that viewers have the capacity for long-term focus already. If the tools presented work for them, they can use those skills to tackle longer-form content without any editing and remain focused. This is why we cut a 2 hour video down to 12 minutes - to bring it to a wider audience that might not otherwise watch it. I appreciate the feedback!
@@RespireOfficialthanks dr for these short nugget videos. Appreciate for splitting the long podcast and ensuring it reaches a wider audience. You are doing a great favour to humankind.
The music in the background of this TH-cam is extremely distracting and for me is so distracting that I have to silence the audio and read the captions. I definitely would prefer to hear your voice and expressiveness.

Many mistakes in the subtitles.
1:19 locus coeruleus, not Aurelius. Sky blue, not golden.
After the 90 minutes, then what? How to refresh for another 90 minute focus time.
then take a break before coming back, it says so on the diagram. the ideal break duration isn't mentioned though it seems shorter than the warm up.
