    Husserl had a similar position about a self within a cosmos as a whole of identity.

    Thanks for this incredible lecture series Simon! I’m reading through the book and watching your lectures after I read each chapter which is really helping me understand the dense but truly fascinating arguments that Parfit is laying out. Any chance you plan to make lectures for Parts one and two of the book? I know those are probably a bit more monotonous and less interesting than questions of personal identity or the ethics of future people but if you ever plan to do so that would be awesome! No worries if not though because I’m sure these are time consuming. Anyways take care and thanks once again!

    It's a pity because I truly wanted to learn from and enjoy this video. However, the constant loss of train of thought coupled with a persistent issue of repetitiveness (which obviously attempts to mask the first problem) made it impossible.
