How do you go about writing functions as data? I need to supress features where i a linear pattern feature is 1. I would use IF statements, but even though it returns the correct data, it says the value is incorrect?
The video is very useful to reduce the desing time, but I just have a cuestion: How can we put excel formulas in the cells of parameters instead just number, or is it even posible? For example, to add a new sheet in the desing table, where I declarete some functions so that I just changeing a number or some declareted variables, they chanche automaticly the design parameters of a new part in the sheet1.
awesome tutorial. thanks alot. now i just cant find out how to safe those awesome generated variations to seperate files. in a somewhat automated manner
when creating the $ feature in table and type "U" or "S" I get an invalid error and the only way for it to work is to manually supress the feature in a particular config, its not letting me do it in the DT
You can define materials for each configuration separately and after design table will updated automatically with specified materials. I think this is easy way that manually input materials for each configuration.
