I haven't even got into a minute writing this, but i must mention the beauty that is Dancing Blade For those who didn't play the Beta. Dancing Blade made it so your Overslash increased your Dagger damage by ≈35%, and its additions were Auto Crit, and Armor+Attack Speed. Once 1.0 came out, Dancing Blade got replaced by Happy Slice. which is just the Gun version... and killed most Dagger Builds. I used to run Dancing - Cutlass - Sharp Edge - Robofuel for HEAVY Armor, Blade Damage, AND Movement Speed.
i was litertally just about to comment on the last video to ask if you were going to do ability only runs! hope we see some full on wizardry with elementalist
I did an ability only run with a friend of mine as Guardian and I grabbed the bonk hammer. We went after Duke and I was just bonking him in the back over and over while he, for some reason, focused on my friend. It was hilarious. Even got the Whack-A-Mole achievement in that run. Didn't go after IRIS that run sadly as he had to get off at that time, but I would have loved to see how good it was to block the big wall bot.
Not necessarily Ability only but Ability Primary is my favorite way to play Recon, I have more runs on Recon than every other class combined, but running Cutlass, Shutdown, Blink repairs scratch damage, along with the Overslash steroid, and if you can two instances of Cold Oil mean you can get two overslashes between blinks. There are often times I forget I have guns because clearing with the dagger is both faster and healthier. Cutlass also lets you hold down M4 to auto swing. The only time this doesn't work is fighting Goliaths, and Bosses, but Goliaths are executed at 30% with the dagger because of Shutdown.
The Rockstar joke was funny, also true I was trying tomdo this yesterday, my reflexes weren't good enough, but I'll keep trying, it's fun Also, hacking isn't that big of a problem if you only ever go forward, it's literally a matter of switching to another button for a few seconds
They need to add a mode to this game where you can save builds that you finish the game with and use them in a mode like the endgame in BL3. Maybe even some competitive modes like a CTF or something.
Why would you trade the +30% secondary ability dmg while having fox gun in hand for just 8% armor while in hand? I do agree that upgrading shovel is good because of the rocket jump that pairs well with hero cape but that 8% armor is just not worth it
Hey guys I need to get two perks to complete the museum , it's the first blue one , and then the very last fantastic one in orange , I've probably done about 15 playthroughs and still have no luck in getting them to appear does anyone know what they are?

You can change the rarity of starting items. Pistol gives you 30% melee damage while in hand

These are not Ad's btw those are just Mobs, Ad's are enemys called or getting spawned in a fight
ill be honest, Recons abilities are just so good that most of the time i use him you just cant help but do a dagger run
Dagger and blink are the bread and then you use Trueshot as a butter.
I had this problem until i accidentaly did a sniper ricochet crit build with recon.

If you want to test if Cutlass has a longer range you can use the heal bot in the safe rooms as a target dummy.

There is always 3 digging spots in the first area of the canyons, 2 weapons and one item.

I'm late to the party, but blink gives you brief invulnerability - long enough to safely land the final blow on an explosive enemy.
You also could have 100% went back for Floppy Disk, you got 5 more cells in the next room alone.
What about Elementalist abilities only? With Robo-Wizard and the increased charges to his Q and stuff?

My favorite perks to go for on recon is chromatic dash and then picking up the upgrade that makes your dagger to elemental damage. Also laser cutlass

You should do a run as engineer where you can only use summons (buddybot and kangaroo turret) and your drones
