@@dabmonstr7403 Keep in mind that Kirby's Copy Abilities are part of outside help at this point, therefore the Monado Arts are not part of Kirby's skill by default.
Just curious: how many people contributed to this tierlist? It looks like Prowder picked up quite a few solid techniques with Megaman and maybe Pacman (though it's not a surprise Pac would make it). Sonic's was cool to see in action too.
I mean, I think I was the one who told Prowder about tech jumping, but he might've already known before, but ever since I commented that it seems he's been using it more.

Mii gunner can go a little bit higher if you use the absorb down b and then jump and sort of immediately roll your thumb onto the down b and hold until the apex of the jump
The only legitimate ones in my eyes are Shiek, Snake, Sonic, R.O.B, Lucario, Mega Man, Villager, Greninja, Pac-man, Blyeth, Bowser Jr, Bayonetta, Sephiroth, Banjo Kazooie, and Steve.
I mean, one, that’s why they’re grey, but also, are you saying you’d rather watch while Link blows himself 15 times to hit the damage threshold needed to win? Because that sounds boring and just starting with the right number and putting an asterisk next to the victory feels more honest to me. Heck, I might even add Snake to the “deserves an asterisk” list, dude’s at 68% when he finally makes it up, which matches some of the self-damage crowd.
@@evilvitamin yeah, but for Snake he was at least climbing up at first instead of starting basically at that level at the bottom. And no I do not want to watch that, I am just stating my opinion.
@@evilvitamin The characters he listed weren't greyed out. Also, the Links had *starting damage* but Snake didn't, that's the difference between them.

People forget that, in the original SSB, Luigi had the best non-flying recovery in the game, in part because he jumps so high.

Duck hunt might be able to make it from 0%, but coordinating that dynamite with the recovery could be asking for too much.
Some of these moves were crazy impressive, like you might as well become a Bayo main at this point

You should watch practical tas’ video on who can jump higher than Kirby. It has a bunch of tips for how to get higher with each character, like mashing b in the second half of bowsers up-b for extra height.

Btw just so you know, but same as with their double jump Mewtwo can actually boost their wall jump with confusion (side b). Using this technique Mewtwo can get a bit higher than what's shown in this video, but still can't quite make it to the top tho, in my testing at least. Even if it isn't relevant for this challenge, I thought you may wanna know this for future challenges.

@@STHFan1992 How so? It doesn't change the outcome and in that sense I wouldn't say it's relevant. Unless you know more than me and Mewtwo can actually make this challenge. Then I'd genuinely love to know how. I tried but couldn't figure it out.
You said Confusion can send Mewtwo a bit higher while wall jumping, which is true. Everything you said is based on this challenge, therefore it's relevant. It gets more than half of its body on *5* instead of less than half of its body on *5.* Just because Mewtwo still can't make it, it doesn't mean it's irrelevant.
@@STHFan1992 You are right. But I was using the word relevant in a different context. I was more focused on actually making the challenge with M2 and for that goal it isn't relevant. But confusion while wall jumping gives M2 extra height, thus it is relevant in a general sense - absolutely correct. But just not under the specific parameters I was thinking of. So it's just a misunderstanding, sorry for that.

Nope! Still not counting Stefan the Blockhead’s stupid block ability. I only count moves to stand on that require ground support. If you don’t want the block ability to break series canon, then let’s just say you have Stefan the Blockhead do a short hop off the ground, and then place a block so that it sticks on the ground. That will make sense like in Minecraft where you can only place blocks on the ground or on other blocks.

If you're referring to Meta Knight, then it's because his Neutral Special sends him slightly higher than his Up Special when mashed fast enough.
