BMW G42 230i Carbon Fiber Grilles Install!!!

We're not sure why BMW gave us an M sport car with CHROME GRILLES, but in todays video we figure out the easy way to swap these grilles over to some Carbon Fiber ones!

You're right, it can be done this way, but it's pretty challenging to get the bottom grille clips unfastened. I really struggled with that part and ended up butchering the old grille pretty badly. Snapping in the new grille was a breeze as was reinstalling the other parts. Glad you mentioned about the hood gap so I took a close look at it before I started. I had to go back and make some small adjustments, so don't put on the last plastic cover before you've checked the gap. Thanks for doing this video!

BMW gave chrome grilles on the M Sport package so you'd spend an additional $300 for the black trim package (like I had to). BTW...would love to see a full bumper removal video; you'd be the first for a G42. Just sayin' This video is still super helpful, thank you!
