Nice dramatic music and tension as you sail through Tilloo Cut. Water ingress in the hull is a sobering event at least you knew what was happening and how to fix it. What maintenance or chore on Cadence is something you dread and avoid?
Yes, when the bilge pump was going off non-stop, we acted fast! Most of the chores are actually quite relaxing and feel good to do, but there are two chores that we dread: Cleaning the macerator on the head and cleaning under the engine bilge. Both are wet and dirty!
Beautiful land and under water scenery. The deep blue and turquoise water is so pretty. I can see this as a place to go back to a spend a lot of time exploring. It would be fun to here some more guitar from Matt and Olivia playing the ukulele. :)
If you tie mid rope a 2nd anchor it's a kettle anchor that helps main anchor have better angle, but stay 20 ft at least from main anchor you wanna let it dig in alone. Any weight will work, like 50 lb old motor or bucket with concrete w metal bits to heavy it up or ball-of-chain. So if in a storm can try this.
I have started buying the Galveston Bay Brewing Captain's Coffee Stout and man o' man it is awesome. Will be visiting Galveston Bay Brewing when time allows. Enjoy the Coronas.
The Bahamas are as beautiful as your amazing blue eyes!
Awe! thx

Um,,, that storm looked like the end of life. 😬 Lol...glad it was a successful passage!
It was among the ugliest, yet awesome looking we've seen!
Good gybe!
Yes, good gybe!
What a great classroom for your daughter! And memories for a lifetime.
Good gybe with pulling in the mainsheet :-)
Thanks, that's my role! - Nancy
That spear fishing looks hard to do.
It is. Especially when the fish don't cooperate. LOL

Well, if we can get her out of this camera shy phase. Ya know now that she's a teenager and all, LOL

Yes, we miss those brews!!!
you should aline your shaft and check your motor mount becuse when you showed the shaft spinning it was wobbleing all over to place
Yep, we discovered that and saw one of the mounts was loose. Like, real bad . 🤯 This summer we're replacing the engine mounts and realigning. 👍
👍🏻👏

Any weather from Tropical Storm Alex?
Just a day of steady rain.
