spectacular video as usual Darren. and i fully agree that opentoonz feels like a fully featured tool. its wonderful. and im glad you and others have made great strides breaking it down so people like me can get comfy with it.
Great. Hopefully this will be a start, but do let us all know (in these comments or via the discord) if you find a better format or have any tips for the rest of us. Don't forget, the TextFX is in V1.3, which you can try now with the release candidate (link in the description)
Hello I have an issue with makin my storyboard, When I try to draw the foreground, or the background for that matter, it's very laggy, is it supposed to be like that? I followed the toturial perfectly (as far as I know ofcourse). Also my computer is very good so it shouldn't be the problem.
Thanks for your question WooGGie. And no, it's not a normal thing to lag when drawing like this. Does OpenToonz normally lag when you draw? It's not always a slow computer that does this. Check that your Pen stabilisation isn't set too high (on the options toolbar). I keep mine between 0 and 20, depending how much help I want. Also, it can help if you can set your system to use your graphics card with OpenToonz. Details here: th-cam.com/video/QcPVtstcFoE/w-d-xo.html
@@DarrenTAnims Haha, thank you, but apaprently I was drawing with the preview on, which... well... Isn't optimal I guess. ;) Thank you so much for answering so quickly though!

Thanks buddy. It's a great tool that hopefully more people will get to hear about. I'm just keen to shout about it as loud as I can.
had no idea OT can do that! )) Great tutorial
Thanks friend. There's so much OT can do and be used for. I've not used half of its features yet.
This is really helpful, because I needed a better format for doing this. Since before i more or less used the thumb nails as the storyboard.

Tnx for sharing this, i don't have your patience haha XD BIG THANK YOU !
😁
helpfull nicely done
Cheers
Thanks!! keep coming with the Tutorials. Quick question do you still use Papagayo for lipsync?
Thanks buddy.
Yes I do. Although I've started to simplify the mouth movements in OpenToonz once imported. They enunciate and move too much.
Note, The Text effect does not exist in the Morevna Edition
EDIT: Atleast not at the moment of this message's post
That's true. Not yet, at least. I expect it'll probably be in the next version though.

You're right. It's not :-) I didn't think to check that. Glad you sorted it. Cheers
