This model looks to have an integrated graphics GPU, a bad GPU usually means replacing the entire motherboard. Here's a closer look: www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-Latitude-5580-15-6-OEM-Intel-i7-7820HQ-2-9GHz-Motherboard-8T986-LA-E151P/223723309652?hash=item3416f2ca54:g:GVYAAOSwDMtdtbse
@@nicolaehirzob1093 As practice shows, my laptop's battery (92WH) does not hold the charge as it should, maybe it's outdated or needs to be substituted. But the same battery in my country costs half the price of a laptop :). I also see this problem in most recent models of Dell laptops, the batteries are weak for some reason. So, I work constantly with charger, and my colleagues too. When I will whenever buy a new laptop, I would prefer to not focus on battery size
This is my day to day machine. I have the i7-7820HQ with 32GB ram and a 2TB drive. It edits video well with DaVinci Resolve.
Hope 2tb is nvme, nice config
Great teardown. Thanks
Thanks mate, you helped me a lot. Cheers!
M2 slot sata3 or nvme or both?
Which parts are valuable to salvage? I have 2 of these bad boys from early 2018
Is the CPU upgradable?

Great review! Helps a lot! Thank you. But my Latitude 5580 has 68WH battery. Is 92WH better?
92WH definetly better than 68WH, in two times
@@ducknet.It's ok if 68 wh have 7.6v and 92wh have 11 volts? Laptop will work correctly?

You did a great review. But can i ask you a question? Does Latitude 5580 with i7 7820HQ support ssd NVME? thanks you
It should! Check out 3:00 in video, the SSD looks to be NVMe as we remove it from the slot. Your motherboard should be the same regardless of the CPU.
