Digging "Stray" too, but I still look forward to each of these and holding out hope that you might decide to play the end game expansion at some point, even if you want to come back to it later down the road.Yeah, in mine Balin definitely seems to be stronger from a damage perspective - I think its because Tristan loses out a little on base damage in exchange for his extra poisoning abilities. Tristan has also been, out of all my folks, the one that's suffered the most injuries (on 4 different occasions I think) over the course of the campaign - usually from getting caught out without being able to re-hide when he rolls low and fails to kill someone. I think some of those choices can affect the morality thing, though it doesn't always tell you when you're making them. I got the last point of "rightful" I needed to trigger the Lancelot mission by giving a wounded pict fighter one of my potions during a mission and when given the options of the potion or killing him it didn't indicate whether/if either would count toward your scores - I just usually choose to help the folks when I get those encounters because it lines up from an rp perspective with the rightful/christian alignment I went with. Mordred's dialog has gotten pretty zealously inclined and its interesting to see just how varied the storylines are (between what I've experienced and from watching yours) depending on which directions you pursue on the alignment chart - from different dialog options on commonly experienced missions to entirely different missions altogether that have come up for me that didn't for you and vice versa, and so it really does play a significant role in how the overall story arc unfolds (good potential replay-ability it appears to promise).
I've enjoyed the gameplay from beginning to end, but you've made some really shoddy calls from beginning to end. From your playstyle, to armor/weapon kits, to character skills, to synergy between skills and weapons, to synergy to skills and characters. Just one colossal screwup altogether. I wouldn't mind watching you do another playthrough where you actually took into account the abilities of characters and how they could synergize. For instance, Red Knight could have been applying a lot of bleed damage and doing more. Morgan Le Fay is a powerful enchantress and you barely touched her.
I think that's mostly the difficulty level of his playthrough, if there's no strong punishments for mistakes they'll keep getting made, nor will he need to really think about optimized gears or skills that much. Like the fact that he's never even tried tons of active skills like Black Knight's best skill which gives him a jump which is even an early unlocked skill, making him the best champion for tyrants, or Morgana Le Fay's debuffs which is super helpfull when enemies don't just explode in 1 turn to Merlin (or even Dagonet for that matter, he has an insanely good aoe skill aswell). Also most of the time since like..level 8 or so, traps have been mostly terrible but he just keeps using them to block his own path against units that have ranged skills, traps just aren't that good mid-late because so many enemies have skills that they can use without moving
The issue is..he doesnt care to learn how to play the game. Because that takes time. And the most important thing for most TH-cam creators is pumping out videos to get views. It's a job first. Being good and learning how to play a game isn't a priority.
I’m not really sure how you consider this play through “Just one colossal screwup altogether” when he’s literally lost only 2 characters through the whole thing and barely takes hits throughout many encounters! Yes, his play style may be different to yours or even mine and I agree he uses/doesn’t use certain skills a little weirdly but I can’t argue with the fact that he’s smoked the entire play through

Will you do the endgame missions? They're incredibly difficult, almost unbalanced.

Yea and he does choose Merlin and doesn’t rely on just one to be the linchpin for every mission
