I remember when Montell Williams came out and talked about his diagnosis years ago. When he talked about his use of food and cannabis people acted like he was doing something unconventional. Seems to me that man made drugs are more unconventional. It would be good to see how he’s doing these days.

HSCT reboots the immune system, not the nervous system. It does stop the immune system from attacking the nervous system in many people. Many have gone through this and the progression has stopped, and a good many have seen improvements as their body heals itself. Good for her in making a personal, private situation public.

MS is never in remission. My husband and son both have it.
There are 4 types of MS. One IS relapse/remitting. But MS never goes away. I don't know how she's in "remission". Maybe she's just feeling better. Kudos to her though for feeling better.

    Mucha fuerza!!!

Thank You Selma Blair!! I had no idea at all! I am SO HAPPY she's OK, and I believe she will be OK. I still remember in Cruel Intentions in high school, and of course Legally Blonde with Reese Witherspoon.

There is no such thing as remission from MS. Injections and medications can stave it off for a few years but it eventually reaches a point where both treatments and medication are ineffective. You have good days and bad. Sometimes, if you are very lucky you have several good months where you are like your old self. This is what Selma is experiencing. It is important to not be over confident and in denial with MS or the depression you'll fall into when it flares back with a vengeance could lead to very bad thoughts and despair as well as suicidal tendencies. I have an Aunt with MS and she has dealt with it all. Eventually with MS, no matter how rich you are, you will be permanently wheelchair bound. That's just the reality of living life with MS. Stem cell treatments are just that, only treatments, they are still very experimental and can only help for a very short time. There is still no cure for MS.

We just watched her documentary and were very moved. It didn't end with such an uplifting result, so I'm really happy to hear she's finally in remission. MS is an ugly illness, my cousin suffers from it. It is amazing what medicine can achieve!

There is no cure for MS... my cousin passed away from multiple sclerosis. I'm very confused how she could be in remission. Wish her the best though.

@@velociraptorwolf447 I saw your comment about having MS.
May God bless you and give you strength. It disturbed me to see that article. I’ve seen the end result of MS. It broke my heart to see my cousin suffer from the disease.

Well what do you think in remission means? It means clear of the disease/infliction.
Thankfully you are wrong and I am right, because I know shat I'm talking about unlike people like you that believe any BS that is spoon fed to you.

I’m from Europe and my dad, a doctor, gave my aunt who had MS fresh stem cells. I think it was fresh stem cells from young sheep. My aunt healed from MS and never had any traces of MS since then. That was approx 40 years ago.
