Danny's cleans are fucking awesome! His voice just sounds different after the surgery... It's more rock 'n roll-ish. I fucking love it, he's come so far!
Danny's only 22, almost 23. He's not that old. It's mostly the drinking and drugs that made his voice the way it is. But he's improving so much now oh my god he sounds great!

You have to remember, Danny is much older now. I'm sure he couldnt do the high pitched vocals even if he wanted to anymore. His voice is just deeper now.
Wouldn't necessarily agree, more shadows than Taylor, shadows hopefully will have a voice again on the new album after surgery, but i don't think he touches close to Corey taylor, Corey still has more power (fry and clean) not shaming him, I like AA with him, just based off what I've heard from him vocally and what I've heard from Taylor who's now been hitting very rough growls for 25 or 26 years and still sounds extremely powerful

It probably wouldn't have happened if they had released their album prior because they no longer have that mature metal sound. They reverted back to their original sound of Metalcore that would typically be heard at Warped Tour
