To us cubers, whoever holds the wr average is the fastest, but to non cubers, whoever holds the wr single is the fastest. Congrats Yiheng!
Max is the better cuber Yiheng is better at 3x3. Once his hands are big enough to hold big cubes Yiheng will come for Max's big cube records too.
@@bren4871 4x4 - 5x5 is his limit. I don't see anyone else touching 6x6 - 7x7 WRs besides Max in 10 years if ever.

just use your logic, obviously for one solve you can get "lucky" but for multiple you really can't so, average > single solve

Yiheng is on a different level. Right now, I think he's probably the best 3x3 cuber right now. The consistency of his averages is wild; I haven't seen anything like it.
I can say, as someone that has never solved one, this is amazing!
I'm 14 here and I am a speedcuber but I just can't understand how a 9 year old with such tiny hands can turn a cube so fast and can compete against people twice his age. Incredible

For 3x3, Yiheng is basically the undisputed best speedcuber, no on comes any where close, and while he doesn't have the single wr yet, I'm sure he will get it in the following months. For now, Max is better at big cubes but we will see how yiheng competes with him when he hands are bigger

The 9 year old Yiheng who broke the average record getting 4.48 seconds (and his own record too) blew my mind! Crazy talent! ASIAN POWER FR!! I just recently learned how to solve a 3x3 and I can't get any less than 1 minute🤣

Its insane how a 9 year old kid managed to beat everyone with lots of experience, in fact some of them was even doing cubing for 9 years qnd yet this kid managed to impress us all with his amazing skills, yiheng always go above and beyond. Impressive!

I think Yiheng might be the only kid or a speedcuber who could potentially get a single WR and stop Max Park getting the 3x3 WR. I mean, Yiheng is the guy who might be recorded in history by being a 9 year old kid who beaten Max Park and Tymon Kolinsanski by half a second. Good Job Yiheng!

You guys need to find a better timer with less delay, on 1:31 there is a clear frame where the actual time is 2.984 and not 3.1 this is HUGE delay by the clock.
its still the correct time, just the display is slightly behind the timer, its not like its adding time to the solve or anything

I doubt the person in charge of the TH-cam channel are able to do this, but maybe Guinness world records could work with the WCA more and possibly add 4x4s and 2x2s, or have a full page of different speedcubing world records.
