I have the new body style 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab AT4. It is "Dark Sky Metallic" color, and has the Pro Tailgate which can be opened remotely with the FOB. Q: Can I get this UnderCover Elite in "Dark Sky Metallic", and will it allow my tailgate still open remotely with the cover closed?
Any issues of the top wearing any of the paint off of the top edges of the bed? I am looking ant buying this cover in ruby red for my 2019 GMC SLT. Great video! Also does it come with keys? My truck only has a key fob.
Nice! Too bad it's ABS "plastic" I.M.O., it simply wouldn't hold up to harsh winter climates like a fiberglass cover does. In addition, it can't be attached to the new carbon pro fiber beds like the GMC 1500 Sierra Denali Ultimate due to the design of the rolled bed inner sides. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Thanks for the question! The remote portion of the tailgate will still work and the cover would only affect the remote tailgate when it is closed. Since the cover wraps around the top part of the bed. It will work in the open position.

Andy Wright Andy was you able to re-key it? I put mine on but cannot get a key to fit inside the lock. I'm missing the yellow tab that should be removed as well.

What size bed was this?
Does the remote tailgate release work with the cover in the closed position? I have a 2017 Lariat and would like to maintain that feature.
