Colin Farrell with long hair is something I didn't know I needed to see
Why?
All I can see is an Irish Scott Stapp.
It's beautiful. Really suits him. Very Johnny Depp here
@@IndieRockerHippy yep was just thinking of that. imagine the both of them in their prime. but colin pulls it off better
@@abc123youandme Bingo. Me too
his transparency about his own journey and insistence on staying humble are iconic. ❤️
His dick is the size of a noodle. If I were him, I would just shut up. Or not have made the tape in the first place.
So was Russell Brands
One of my favorite actors, the raw honesty in this interview makes it even more precious.

And it wasnt just one vice, he was a proper hard living son of a gun! He finally entered rehab after making "Miami Vice" with Jamie Foxx.. Reckons he cant remember weeks of shoots!.. It was touch n go whether hed get back to the top. Found himself a better home in character pieces rather than a "blockbusters" leading man.

In Bruges has proved to be a long-lasting hit, and his skill as an actor has only grown exponentially in the intervening years. His sensitivity and intelligence are also stellar.

Hi anxiety could be confused with him being on something but I'm glad he is open enough to say he isn't anymore, he's a lovely down to earth guy and so intelligent.

Authentic, honestly transparent and a lovely human being simply travelling the path 👍
He's such a kind person too.
We clearly didn't watch the same video. This is uncomfortable to watch! What do you call authentic? A person who's gesticulating uncontrollably because of cocaïne consumption ? He is very handsome but he's an actor, what people look on camera and behind are two different things.

Exactly. You can't tell none of that from a show on a screen. He has his show hat on, which is, being a pro in front of a camera.
An incredibly intelligent and articulate person
@@pellier08 I think he is just very, very nervous, he even mentioned it on the end. And there are a lot of "heavy" topics in the interview so to be nervous and gesticulationg a lot is quite understandable. But he did great. :)

Colin's vocabulary is amazing! Did he go to college?? I've been listening to some of his interviews, and he's very, very articulate 🤔💭. Impressive!! 👌
He said in an interview he doesn't have a formal education. The thing is that he is reaaaally good with words. There's this interview with Screen Actors Guild Foundation, the last 10 min, are remarkably touching. He should write (he also said before he wanted to be a writer).
@@danamartinez7840 that's his blessing 🙏🙌🙏
No he didn't attend any college but he attended a good high school in Dublin till 17, then, as he was already a restless boy, he left his studies, working in Ireland as a line dancer (Colin was a good dancer, he studies dance for years, and a soccer player too) and eventually going to work and searching for some fortune in Australia. But there he had a very bad experience, being arrested as a suspect of murder. Actually it was a mistake, he was completely innocent, it was simply an exchange of person, so he was set free, but he did not stay there any longer. Australia wasn't his lucky place. So he went back in Dublin and there he began to attend a famous Irish school of acting (Gaiety School of Acting) and drama but he didn't finish it because of his talent. He was discovered far before finishing the academy and stated working in the TV serie Ballykissangel, in 1996, when he was only 19 years old. Tim Roth saw him and wanted him for his movie War Zone. After this Colin played roles in other series and movies (Falling for a dancer, Drinking crude and others) in Ireland and England and went back to theater acting for the Donmar Warehouse in London, where Kevin Spacey saw him (a nice talented boy) and wanted Colin to play a role beside him in his new movie, Ordinary Decent Criminal (2000). After this movie with Spacey the doors of Hollywood were opened for Colin and he reached his fame thanks to Joel Schumacher (Tigerland, 2001) and Bruce Willis (Hart's war, 2002). Colin always says sincerely he does not have a formal school education but actually it isn't completely true. He did not finish the academy because he was talented and stared working for TV and movies, but above all he made his experiences with acting in theater dramas. He loves very much reading a lot and he's clever. This is why he is so articulate.

So charming... honest and open.... Really want the best for him.
He looks so fucking great with long hair. More men need to grow their hair out. 😛
So you’re Thirsty with a God complex: how unattractive
It doesn't suit everybody.
he looks so common. Better look white guys are found in 3 dollar hostels in Bali.
More men need to have more hair first before growing it out
Makes me question my sexuality, damn, yer mahn is so good looking.
Watching him in this interview, i would never guess that he would go on to play Oswald Cobblepot a.k.a. the Penguin in the Batman
If you’ve seen the video, you know he does not disappoint. Heavens to Murgatroyd! Some people live blessed lives.
This is fab. Farrell is a top guest whatever show he's on, which is lovely. I don't watch Ross's shows because he too often makes it about a) the women he's interviewing that he's trying to flirt with, or b) him. But that means I forget that when it's a bloke, and he's interested, he's a quality interviewer.
He's surprisingly articulate.

Yeah, very Oscar the Grouch .
Colin Farrell, contrary to the impression I had of him in Alexander(the hair!) is amazingly honest, articulate beyond belief (Irish) for someone not well educated. Really very aware of how to express himself. Terrific man.
He should have just done his hair like this in it , the blond was really stupid
I wonder why you think he was not "well educated". He was educated at Castleknock College, graduTion from which is the equivalent of B.A. in North America !☘

Colin Farrell is a great actor. I've seen most of his movies. But, I have to say..... The hair is a conversation of its own. I love it! I wish I could grow mine out like that. I'm still sporting the 80s mullet. The bangs are too much to tend to while trying to grow them out.

The movie "Alexander" is one of my favourite movies of all time!!!
He's a brilliant actor and personality, but in Alexander, he was miscast, even he admits he got overpaid for the role. Far from convincing as the legendary military leader and tactical genius, or the awe-inspiring megalomaniac front-line warrior that men would follow to the ends of the earth. Oliver Stone lost the plot not one of his best directed, and the screenplay with the bisexual references was a bit cringeworthy.
@@Pulsonar Why cringeworthy? It was the truth as it happened.
@@mermaidthea It was the truth, no problem with that, but didnt convince he had a grasp of the complex character in Alexander, and I could sense him struggling to convey that dual sexual aspect of the character. Nothing wrong with the antagonistic romp with Roxane (Rosario Dawson) that was something wild (she acted very well), but what the hell was going on with him and hephaistion (Jared Lehto)?
@@Pulsonar I don`t know, but the most important parts were the battles, so everything else was not so significant to me.
@@mermaidthea At least Oliver Stone made a fair stab at that (pardon the pun) as a real-lfe Vietnam Vet with Bronze star war hero credentials, and Oscar winning Platoon to his name, it was expected. 🙏🏾

Alexander is one of my FAVORITE movies!
I don’t care what the critics opine!!!
Yes! That movie didn't get the credit it deserved...and Colin's willingness to play a gay/bi historical figure, at that time, was gutsy. He legitimizes the art of acting by giving sole focus to the character and not to career status or public opinion. The movie may have been panned, but its real effect was the calming of worries from other high-profile actors about playing such roles at the height of their careers. So many movies after this featured straight men portraying gay figures in a respectful and accurate way.
I remember back in the day searching for that video, lol. I had the biggest crush on him.
I just love him!
he can do anything... he's a STALLION!
