This is just so heartwarming to watch! Seeing how everyone especially Jiu try to get her involved and let her talk when she's being quiet in the corner during their early days because she's not fluent in Korean, you can very much tell how they came to have a huge soft spot for her. She's the middle child in DC, but unlike an actual middle child, she gets all their attention and love in their own ways.
Ever since she came back from China, she became more confident and the other members are supportive as ever to her. I mean, just look at the Poison Love MV lol
Technically, since Jiu and Sua are the parents, Yoohyeon is the middle child... >.>

The unnie line especially Jiu and Sua is like trying to keep the family together, but are sometimes too chaotic themselves to do it that ends up making the maknae line being embarrassed about it (as if they can be not chaotic themselves lol).
Jiu is like an oldest gentle sister who like to smother them with love. Sua like a second oldest who looks a bit strict and is about tough love, but is actually gentle. Siyeon like the third oldest who can be a bit protective but is sometimes confused about life. Handong like the middle child who may be quiet and gets ignored by others at times, but everyone in DC has a huge soft spot for her. Yoohyeon who is like the third youngest sister who gets teased a lot especially by the unnie line but will do anything for her if needed. Dami the second youngest sister who is chill and quiet but always looks out for others and Gahyeon the youngest who is one of the epitome of Maknae on Top lol

In early DC, HD was exceedingly quiet. Good on our leader JiU and the other members to make sure they pay attention to her--always make her feel included.

Our members always have a soft spot to Handong. Handong came personally from China and I'm glad the staff and members always make Handong feel comfortable. Even when Handong had to return to China to participate in a survival show, the members always supported Handong. Being alone in a foreign country may be hard but everything will become easier when we are in an environment that loves us. And it was proven to Handong, from a shy person to a confident person.
Fun fact, I'm Yoohyeon bias but the profile picture for my social media is between a gundam image or handong photo. Not even a single social media uses yoohyeon's photo (sorry yoohyeon 🙏) and I just realized a few days ago.

I remember back in the day Handong was quiet and reserved, partially because of the language barrier. But I actually liked that was was a chill ice princess and also that as a foreigner she diversified the group. Nowadays she's as chaotic as other members and has been really killing the vocals lately. I'm so proud of her! 💖🙏
