Namaste I really appreciate your videos they teach me new techniques each time , my dearest mummy who is 88 yrs has bought her own Tibetan bowl and is self healing every day she feels the benefit physically and emotionally and has done ever since I started my Playing over 2 years ago when her legs felt transformed and reenergised she’s still getting about around her local community 🙌
Tony - this is really good. At least you describe what you are doing and how you set the bowls up. Most films have the bowls in place and it is good to hear how you set this all up - Keep it up!
Seems like a very easy job. Just let the bowls do the work and you and the client get to be in a meditative state. I keep having visions of me doing sound healing for humans and horses, like a healing sound event(s)
Hi there you do need to choose the bowls and combination of bowls used in a session based on the clients needs. Here's a link to some of courses if you wish to learn more: www.academyofsoundhealing.com/onlinecourses
I adore what you're doing here, thank you! I have a singing bowl and a tuning fork and want to incorporate them into my Reiki sessions but I'm not sure of the best way to do this. Does anyone have experience in this, or any suggestions?
This is a difficult question to answer without having more detail about both issues. Please feel free to email us at support@academyofsoundhealing.com and our team will do our best to give you the support you need.
Thank you. This is wonderful. Did you place an F bowl on the heart and C bowl at the feet? Or just using intuition as to the vibrations needed in a certain area?
Tony doesn’t state which bowls he used for this video and intuition will play an active role, but you certainly can use the relevant chakra bowl on the chakra if you have them.
Thank you for the video! What evidence is there that the Tibetan singing bowls can hurt a fetus or someone with a metal hip? I use the bowls on my husband who has a metal hip and he has experienced no discomfort. What damage can these gentle vibrations do to metal?
The vibrations of the bowl can at times be very painful to people who have implants or potentially loosen surgical screws. If you husband feels no discomfort, then you could continue to use the bowls at your own risk. As far as the fetus, there is not a lot of research that has been done either way. What we do know is that the sound is amplified in the womb. There have been studies that have shown hearing damage to fetuses when they have been subjected to long term sound at a particular Hz and decibel level. Because there is still little known, it is best to stay on the side of caution!
Can I ask you what bowls you are using ? I mean where did you purchase them ? I absolutely love the sound and the fact that they resonate for so long. Not every bowl is like that, and I would love to get these type of bowls myself 😍I also love the fact that you have got so many birds singing in the background...❤️❤️❤️
Hi Kate Thanks for your comment and questions. We have colelcted these bowls over many years from various sources. However we now have a great, reliable source of good quality bowls and you can buy them from us: www.soundtherapyshop.com/product-category/tibetan-singing-bowls/ The larger bowls resonate longer than smaller bowls.
hello, and thank you for a very informative video. could you please tell us which bowls you used, i'm especially interested in the heart bowl. the sound really resonated with me, even over speakers. thanks a lot, namaste.
Hi there the bowls we use are available here: www.academyofsoundhealing.com/instruments If you chat to Jane she will find a bowl that is right for you.
Hi Barbara. It really depends on the application. We have some free courses you should look at to familiarise yourself with soundhealing. www.academyofsoundhealing.com/store-free-courses
Tony is using up to 6 bowls for this session but he states that only one bowl can be used if you only have one. He specifically doesn’t say which notes they are, as he wants to focus on the lower tones and higher-pitched bowls.
Hi there. Tony has collected bowls throughout the years so yes from a different manufacturer. The bowl is most likely a C bowl relating to the root chakra.
@@SoundHealingAcademyInt I have a pace maker for the brain. The wires are in my brain, and go down to a stimulator in my chest. It is for Parkinson's Disease. Would I be able to have Sing bowls on my body?
A friend of mine who is currently studying sound therapy, including bowls was taught not to use them directly placed on the front of the body as the internal organs are not protected as much as they are when playing on the back?
+Al Nicholson Hi Al Thanks for your comment. I don't know which sound therapy school your friend is studying with, but our experience is different. We have found that it is possible to play the bowls effectively on the front of the body to trigger the relaxation response and so alleviate the symptoms of stress, which lies behind many illnesses and diseases. The key things about this technique are that you should use smaller, lighter bowls on the body and that the bowls are played softly and rhythmically on the body. It's OK to play bowls that up to 8" / 20 cm or 10" / 25 cm on larger, stronger people. This does not have adverse effects on the internal organs. You can also play the bowls on the back and achieve similar results. We find that more people relax most deeply when they lie on their backs, so that's a good reason to play bowls on the front. It is important not to place big, heavy bowls on the front of the body and to not overplay the bowls, using fast taps or to create loud sounds. Please note also that there are contra-indicators for treatment. In other words, you should not play any sound therapy instruments, including Tibetan bowls, on the body in certain cases, for example: pregnant women, people with heart pacemakers, people with metal implants etc. We cover all these issues in much more depth in our training courses, both workshop based and online. I hope that this is helpful, Tony.
Thanks for the in depth reply Tony! I well mention to my friend as well. I'm looking at doing my going practitioner this year in the UK. Fascinating to learn how sound can heal. Many thanks. Al
+Al Nicholson Thanks for letting me know, Al. There are other respected sound healing schools who also teach that it's good to play the Tibetan bowls on the front of the body, including the Peter Hess Academy. So we are not alone in holding this view.
Hi Emily. Thanks for your message and your interest in our classes. Please email: support@thesoundhealingacademy.com for more information. Our support desk is open 7 days a week and we'll be happy to help you.
The bowls emit strong vibrational interference patterns that can adversely effect the functioning of pacemakers when a bowl is played directly on the body close to a pacemaker. It is ok to okay the bowls 20 cm (8 inches) or more away from the body.
Hi Christine that can happen. Try this again but get regular feedback from your partner as you are doing it so that you know which combination of notes is creating the effect.
