I went to this Temple yesterday,no I am not a muslim,I am English. We went there for a school trip. It really is beautiful there. All the floors are marble or carpet. I could definitely go there again!
I have learnt, if we strip away the "dogmas" of all the churches we are left with the "lowest common denominator" (as maths at school used to call it); the same god. To get to that, one has to remove ALL the peripherals, including the New Testament in the case of us "Christians" but God is God and we all need to believe in a deity because that is the nature of humans. We all have the weakness of "Needing to know, needing to ask the questions to which we'll never know the answer. God fills the gaps, Christ and other religion focal points fill in other details and as with Judaism, history passes down tight knot generations to smooth our the little wrinkles that we have in our values and understanding. (Which can never be fully satiated for the sole reason that we are human; damaged goods from the word go.

It took me a while to work out that this was 360° photography - because it doesn't work in Chrome. It does work in Firefox so I've now managed to see all the films in the series (published to date at least). The relatively low resolution of the 360° doesn't do justice to the buildings which are being showcased. A conventional HD camera would have served the purpose far better.
What breathtaking beauty!!! and I have learnt something today. Not many people have an inkling about the Hindu Religion or way of life.
