Really good work. A little idea would be is to put a second snap strip over the first one. Because if it snagged on something when in use. A nice Henry you want to protect it best you can. I love your idea. I will be doing that with all my lever guns.
God I'm so happy I found this channel, very relaxing and fun to watch rather than all the abundance of high speed tutorial videos trying to shill products
First thing came to my mind when you showed the drawing was the hardware could scratch the stock. I should have know you had a fantastic idea to avoid that lol beautiful work as always 🙂
Thanks man. Tube fed is really awesome and convenient, but can be finnicky. I'm also a little 'afraid' of it. I like an action where I can see everything wide open, and can PROVE it safe.
Kyle I think you got a crack in your phone screen bud haha! Great project man. I have a H001 in my locker. Maybe some day I will have a sling like this on it!
So Kyle,..when are you going to offer these slings to be ordered? That looked nice,...good that you 'hid' those fasteners so they wont scrape the wood,..but I'd think that there will be some rubbing shown on the stock after a few days , what do you think?
With a lot of moving, there may be some slight rubbing. It fits pretty snug, so there shouldn't be a lot of movement or chaffing. Time will tell! Not likely going to be offering them, unless I had a henry myself, so I could custom fit each one!
Nice addition to a good little gun. Excellent work Kyle.

Very nice work and no, the 22 magnum round is actually slightly larger in diameter than a regular 22 caliber round.
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much!
Nice work, it's always nicer to make your own.
Quality workmanship, as always.
Learn something new every time. Keep up the good work.
Wow, really nice work Kyle. Its a masterpiece.
Thanks so much Ronnie!
Beautiful job, I really like it. I've even learned a thing or two. Keep up the good work Kyle.
Very nice video thanks.
Really enjoy your videos brother aloha from Hawaii
Looks nice bro
Very nice work!! I see you ended up fitting the strap between the barrel and the ammo tube.
Yep! I think it looks a little better than having it above the barrel

Brass Stacker has been making those for years. Nice work though.
awesome, thank you !!!
outstanding!
Nice work Kyle, new subscriber but have followed you on TV for a nice while.
Love the sling! Love the lever action, would have to be my favourite. Hate the tube fed magazine tho.

Nice job. I have a Henry I don’t want to drill either. Is this available and if so what’s the cost?
Nailed it
Classic!

haha Yep.. split the screen shortly after getting it.. now I have to spend two years before I get another!
I like it
How did you measure the required length to cut the leather to fit around the stock? A measuring tape?
I didn't see the strap for sale on your site. I have the same gun and am interested in what you would charge to make me one.

What dye are you using?
Nice video! Thought you were more of a blade guy
Awesome video! Have you ever used Obenauf's?
what kind of leather did you use and how thick was it?
What is the lever lock make and model shown on the rifle?
Bless your heart, nice try, but Brass Stacker is much nicer and more professional looking. Barrel connection will end up slipping and rubbing.
You could have just pushed the gun sock up and left most of it covered ?
I heard one should use oil from a fruit like Olive oil rather than oil from a vegetable for leather.
“Petite” = carbine.
Kyle you know bubble wrap comes from China and its filled with Chinese air lol
haha Good thinking, Ron! I'll put on my respirator before I start poppin'!!
Magnum refers to powder load not case, and a Henry should not have an issue with Magnum load.
This is a terrible design
should have lined all parts touching rifle
