This is a great video anyone who wants to get better with the pig. One tactic I use is when know someone is working on a Gen while I'm crouched, I get up instead of doing the ambush attack. Why? When you get up from crouch, not sure of the numbers, but you still have zero terror radius for 2-3 seconds as you walk up to someone not paying attention and you can pick then off from a Gen or totem. It's a easy way to get an instant hook with this tactic. If they do notice you, it's a free hit even if they have sprint burst because you should already be close enough for the hit.
This vid actually convinced me to buy the dlc, i dont like playing the high skill killers because it takes alot of work, and even if all these crouch/ambush techniques are difficult to pull off, they sure will feel satisfying, that quick crouch and fast charging ambush is insane! reminds me of the fun i have using fast uncloak wraith!
You should make a guide for every killer. Your guide are honestly the best (In my opinion of course) keep up the good work, and please do more guide on more killers.

Mmmm one thing pyrus forgot to mention is you can kill survivors by forcing the trap to go off. To do this have a trap on them and force them off your shoulder by picking them up and dropping them 4 times right before the kill trigger. It will heal them a health state and won't count as you dropping them past the kill trigger because according to the game logic if your injured but not down your in control of your character and as such willingly went past the kill trigger.
Although you've probably figured it out already, what he means by the kill trigger is between those two pillars at the exit gate; the 'trigger' is: "if you willingly go past this line with a trap on your head, you die." As the killer, you can repeatedly pick someone up and drop them again over and over on top of that area (between the two pillars), until they break out of your hold. The game will see that as them willingly crossing the line, and the trap will kill them.
I have no idea, sorry. I didn't even know it was possible until InsidiousGaming said it, I was just repeating what he said in a hopefully easier to understand way for CosTa. Best way to find out would just be to juggle someone over the death line I suppose.
cheeseklac I usually get at least 2 kills as her I will always get 1 probably because I'm still level 7 but aside from that. While the rbts aren't for killing them it's so satisfying to see the notification in the corner saying game over. Because you did a gud keeping them off the jigsaw boxes.
I really never thought much of the pig, but you made me excited to pick her up and try to make her as good as she can be. I didn't really understand how and when to use her ambush, but this guide gives me a real good head start. I wonder just how effective I can be!
People said the dash attack is ass because they think it wastes time just crouching everywhere when it’s not the case. Originally I suppose it was meant to be stealthy but the meta doesn’t allow it. So might as well use it to attack during pallet loops

Please do DBD: Trapper, Hag, Clown, and pretty much all of The killers. The way you explain the perks that work with each killer and the way to use their abilities tactically is very impressive and I would love to see more videos from you. Also, you should do gameplays of you playing killer, that would be amazing too. Best of luck and keep up the good work.
Great guide, i am writing a pig guide myself i want to do this for every killer. I have a question about the numbers of the add-ons, did you research them yourself or did you take them from the wiki? Cause it seems the shatterd syringe is wrong. Thanks in advance and keep up the great work
Thanks glad you enjoyed the guide. The numbers for the addons were researched in KYF mainly. From what I remember I took the cooldown from when the weapon leaves the screen until the point where an action can be performed again.
@@Pyrus900 thanks for the fast response. In your guide you say it has an 66% cooldownreduction while the wiki says 25% that is a big difference. Not to hate but i want my numbers to be correct and i have seen some big errors on the wiki so i cant trust that 100% maby it was a typo on your end?
No worries. Yes the wiki can be quite miss leading, sometimes. unfortunately I don't have the numbers anymore, so I can't actually go back and check my calculations. It might also be that wiki has defined cool down differently than I have. I doubt it's a typo, if anything it could be a miscalculation, but I doubt that to.

The saw chapter is cool and all but it doesn’t feel like saw. The map is underwhelming, like it doesn’t feel creepy or gory enough, you know how saw is suppose to feel. The song “Hello Zepp”isn’t even in the game so the whole saw vibe isn’t there. Amanda The Pig isn’t the least bit intimidating. She’s like 5,6 with blue jeans and a fucking jacket. On the other hand someone like Huffman is 6,9 Stocky and more intimidating. (Huffman is jig saws other apprentice) sorry for the mini rant 😕
Really? I think Amanda is way better suited for what The Pig killer does. In most of the movies, there aren't any big scary Jason Vorhees style chase scenes just a bunch of sneaky surprise abductions. It's a lot easier to pull off the Saw-esque sneak attacks with Amanda's smaller profile. I know her outfit is movie accurate but I wish she had Jigsaw's black robe with the black pants outfit.Also it would be awesome and a great nod to the movie if when you land an ambush attack the survivor got the drugged effect like with the clown .
Very nice Vid Pyrus, although I am kinda disappointed you didn't add one of the pigs strongest strategies, Knockout+blindness addons. With this the Pig is easily the strongest slugger in the game.
Very good and informative video overall. One thing I would do is go a little more in indepth on Combat Straps. Combat straps can act as a suitable replacement for an ambush dash when sneaking up on a survivor. You lose out on some deviousness points but it usually makes up for it. Because of how the crouch works, the terror radius is delayed a bit when uncrouching. So if you simply choose to uncrouch, you get several seconds of no terror radius while moving at full speed. Depending on positioning and the environment, you can get grabs off of gens and jigsaw boxes. If a survivor has sprint burst, going for an uncrouch and going for a normal lunge gives them less time to react than when you dash because you won't let out a roar. And in the worst case where a survivor with sprint burst is able to react quick enough to you approaching, then you can just keep running at them and won't have to go through the missed dash cooldown.
Combat straps is a brown addon for Pig that makes it so you can crouch and uncrouch really fast. When a survivor is working on a generator, if you can close to them while they're still repairing it and hit M1, you grab them instead of just hitting them, which immediately puts them on your shoulder for you to hook them. Because of how fast you can uncrouch, combat straps can help you grab survivors off of gens, cutting out a chase entirely.

Hey Pyrus One thing about the Maps. 14:44 Why did you put the School on 8th Place? For me it always feels like Haddonfield 2.0. A couple of Houses, some decent walls and hideouts from where my spooky Myers or Pig can sneak up very well. Spot 5-8 are pretty much the same difficulty, I suppose it depends on preference as well ^_^. The school is quite a nice map rethinking it, I should probably have placed it lower down. The only thing that drags it down is the school itself, it has 3 safe pallet from what I remember.( like pallets in a corridor) But yeah it's a heaven for ambush killer since most gens are inside rooms or behind walls, Plus it's quite small. Glad I could teach someone with so many hours something

However i haven't really worked out how to successfully use the ambush move yet, and i fumble a lot of attempts. There's some really helpful footage in this video! Loop blitzing is a sweet strategy! Just need to get some decent perks and practice now!
What is the point of having MORE jigsaw boxes? Thats more opportunities for survivors to escape the traps, and a longer “Box-Patrol” Can someone explain?
Nice guide but I disagree with the perks build, I think whispers is not that good at high rank, discordance is way better in my opinion. PS: i think you would have put Discordance but it wasn't released yet though

YSN yup. I prefer always getting up because it doesn't alert survivors like the ambush attack.
