- I spent a lot of time arranging a solo acoustic arrangement of this 4 years ago...and then I forgot it! So, I thought I’d try to record it again!
I hope you like my attempt at this classic tune. I wish I could sing Steven Tyler’s super high octave at the end...but...I can’t 😂
Magnificent!!
Thanks!

Exxploding bun I haven’t figured out how to translate this yet, but thank you! 😁
Any tips on playing and singing at the same time?
My best advice would be to start with something with a “straight” strumming pattern that doesn’t have a specific “syncopation” that differs from the rhythm of the singing melody. My first song I felt comfortable singing while playing was “If You Could Only See” by Tonic. Then, I would focus on letting the strumming pattern be more of its “own instrument.” For example, maybe hit a big mute on the 2 and 4 to imitate a snare drum. Slowly, as you practice more and more, you learn to figure to worry about the fact that you are singing and playing😁. Honestly, it just kind of clicks.
Great guitar! How long have you played?
Lauren Ash Thank you very much! 26 years!

Sorry I didn’t respond earlier- I have 3 videos on my channel teaching “One Headlight” by Wallflowers, but no other lessons yet
