I see nothing wrong with lots of single men. It’s called “survival of the fittest.” If you’re lazy, unintelligent, refuse to read a book or go to the gym, and have a terrible personality -> you are destined to be single. I worked hard to go to the gym every day at 5AM. I worked hard to become a doctor and make a good salary. I read everyday to keep myself informed and intelligent. I refuse to be shamed for my hard work. I am not a “chad” I’m just a hard worker.

@@mosesking2923 tell me, why don't you fight each and every one who stands in your way, or resists to your will, but choose the exact communication that will message your intent across, without threatening the other party?
I don't know a book that teaches human communication, but did learn that around blue-collar workers personality, social ability and biological limitations reveal themselves - the team is willing to include anyone who prioritizes results, or social activity.
From the simps I met, the poor socialization screamed out to anyone looking, and not pounding on their own chests the common mantras.
Hard work rewards, but those who are not properly socially able will be exploited, resulting in the commonly known outcome.

One huge problem is social media: No human, male or female, at any point in history has been exposed to so many pieces of propoganda and false ideals on how they are supposed to live their lives and end up confused and depressed. We romanticize depression as a society and accept that we should live in countries with hustle cultures where if one cannot attain women or work ridiculously hours that they should be subject to ridicule. I sincerely hope that changes and that if anyone reads this comment, they no longer judge a man or anyone based on their ability to find a woman or attain a high degree of wealth at such a young age.

No attention, garbage low paying jobs, no pussy, the men will get angry. Can't have a society where only rich and very good looking men can attract women. Some men will move to Asia, find a GF and be happy. Most Western men don't have that option though.

We live in a simp-ecomony, men in relationships or dating spend an insane amount of money chasing women. Think of all the flowers, gifts, jewelry, homes, cars, restaurants, vacations, and the list goes on and on. When men are single they are able to save a lot of money and typically dont spend much unless its on themselves. If men remain single then billions of dollars are not being spent in the general economy. The average man in the pursuit of women can easily spend $10k-$20k a year on women, now times that by millions of men. Economists are freaking out because more men than ever are not dating, and not interested in dating, and that is costing the economy literally billions of dollars.

Aside from the Disneyfication of relationships, I think a lot of it has to do with the overbearing tolerance stuff because I see people constantly encouraged to "drop them, they're toxic, omg girl, you don't need to put up with that."
A lot of the time it's not toxicity, it's just normal conflict, and nobody withstands the normal conflict anymore. They use "toxicity" as an excuse to just drop people and not face the hard conversations, and you can't maintain a relationship if you can't have the hard conversations.

    • @TheDecatonkeil
      @TheDecatonkeil 2 ปีที่แล้ว +29

It's so funny, right? I know that a lot of people either go to therapy or cope with their problems through the mentality of "everyone else is toxic, drop them". I personally believe there ARE indeed toxic people that are beyond helping and converting into well adjusted individuals. But this culture of "toxicity" in which I doubt, when not outright deny, that any of the therapists or stand-ins for therapists these people have, ever tell this people in the second person "YOU are the toxic one, YOU need to change". It creates a climate where we just discard each other and stroke our own ego. It's never worth it to try to struggle to make things work, because everyone just discards. Nobody is toxic except everyone else. Selfishness is the ultimate goal and we have even come to patholgize altruism with labels like "white knight". Sure, it's not real altruism to do things to get something in exchange, but I do believe that the reason why we pathologize those behaviours (being nice to the other person so that they like you in return, which at worst is just reciprocating a pro-social attitude, i.e. if not romantically, socially, a society should appreciate individuals that help, contribute and do sacrifices) while saying that it's much more normal to be manipulative, aggressive, grab what you want, hurt, hit, cheat... Because at least that's "more honest than doing nice things so others like you". Moral of the story: never, ever help anyone. It's a lot of wasted effort.
Did your parents or society or religious morals tell you that you should feel good when you help, that you should feel bad when you don't, that cooperation, collaboration, giving second chances and a mutualism and reciprocity in which you help other people stand back up when they fall, because you would like others to do the same for you...? Well, I've got news for you. You're actually the worst type of person in the world, because your attemp to make the world a better place in hopes that other people will do the same for you is actually very selfish. It's even more selfish than being outright selfish.

The kids don't recognize each other as full brothers and sisters and off each other later in life. They don't even respect the father or mother fully in life and abandon them because the children can't bond with their parents because the parents attention is spread so thin with all the kids half brothers and sisters, concubines etc. Polygamy always falls flat and just creates chaos.

How can people be so blind, you have everything literally in front of your eyes and still can't see. Monogamy - rich western societies (japan, china, russian too). Polygamy - perpetual wars in middle east and africa. Polygamy forces young men to "conquer" and go to war if they want to have woman literally only way is taking it away from neighbours (other tribes or nations). If they don't have neighbours they can steal women from with force (aka our "civilized" societies) they will turn on system itself.

Being alone does not cause madness or violence, as some people suggested, that's bs. It may make you sad, miserable and wreck your self esteem, but that is it. I'm experiencing extreme loneliness for years and I'm not a monster. If and when lonely people are dangerous, there are other factors involved, like a terrible education or personality disorders. I don't blame other people for my problems, because I believe in freedom and basic ethics. Besides, sex is not a basic human need and if a person does not engage in it, it shouldn't be anybody else's business. Instead of judging lonely men, society should be complaining about the bullies who shame, humiliate and discriminate us for our mere existence.

Is sex not a basic need? Friend, sex is literally the purpose of our existence. It is the only objective meaning of life. What differentiates a living organism from a non-living organism is precisely the ability to reproduce and pass its genetic code forward.
The meaning felt, purpose or meaning in the life of any living being is reproduction, it is the only thing that exists between birth and death. Therefore, to say that sex is not a basic need is at least funny, because we only exist to reproduce, literally.

Nope, no lasses would talk to me so I rode my bike, drank til I was sick and played songs about hating myself on guitar. All this before online dating 20 years ago. Because the harder you tried the worse it became. How bad is it now? Dare I ask? Being married, in shape and having my financial shit together (you get on with this during your 20s well without distractions) now at 39 I do get flirts from single mums when I take my daughter to school but this is like throwing a steak into a pool of starving piranhas by comparison. It is the biggest stress-reliever humanity has access to, it is very good for your mental health (being intimate with someone else) and the benefits of having sex on a regular basis are numerous. Besides, for men to stay healthy and avoid prostate and testicular cancer we're supposed to ejaculate about 20 times a month. It helps when you got a GF helping out in that domain :p

I've known alot of guys that had a hard time meeting anyone. Pretty lonely, years going by, perhaps life in the end.
So many out there in this spot.
Hard fact is that women are way way more attractive just by being them selves, attractiveness in men is rarely judged by the same standards and requires something more. That's reality.
What confuses me, often, is the lack of effort.
If finding a woman truly is a priority, then do everything in your ******* power to make it happen.
Sculpt your body to its best, throw yourself into challenging experiences that build character, test yourself every damn day like a mad man.
With this kind of grit any man can become attractive.
But it's hard work every day and it never stops and it never should.
So many of these guys just won't do it though.

Those that married when both were poorer then made money or stayed the same tended to stay together. This was interesting to hear. Honestly I think the fact the women are becoming higher earners, means we have found less use for marriage and husbands. Women are content in many cases with having multiple options, occasional sex, and having fun. When you take money off the table, marriage benefits men more. Women when career minded, are Less interested in having children or a large families anymore. Making them less interested in men. Most women I know are even bi-sexual and will deal with other women. Studs are becoming a better option for many women too. The world is different. Now that we have a society were two lesbians can raise children without a man, there's no use for men as it was before.

Now, speaking as a man who has no trouble or qualms with finding a woman to fuck, let me tell you this, I've reached a point where I just stopped caring about sex or the quality of it. Hooking up with different women over the years made me just bored and isn't all cracked up either. If I were to make a rough guess of your life, I would guess you've gotten married way too early and held on to an dead marriage too long that your youth passed you. I never assumed that relationships and sex don't deteriorate, I even said "love is fleeting" because at one point in every marriage even in healthy ones, love dissipates and the sex stops becoming exciting this is why loyalty and companionship is extremely important. The last ditch effort of those in power to retain their power is war; Sending men with nothing left to lose to kill each other rather than allow revolt against the institutions that caused these problems in the first place. And as always women will sit on the sidelines playing the victim’s, choosing the Men who make it out alive. Polygamy was never normal, it used to be the case for extremely powerful men, like kings and members of higher nobility, so like 0.001% of the population.
Monogamy is ultimately the natural state for humans. It makes sense biologically, because children take a huge amount of time and care and to grow into adulthood, so stable couples are much more fit for survival of their children. Harems could potentially fulfill that only if the man has a vast amount of resources already available, and that only was the case, as mentioned before, of kings or the extremely rich.
Monogamy also leads to stable societies, what would have happened if in a prehistoric tribe of 100 people, the 10 strongest men would hoard most women to themselves? The other men would refuse to collaborate with the group, compromising the overall survival, or even worse revolt and kill the men at the top (being stronger or the best hunter in the tribe wouldn't save you from a handful of bloodlusted men that are out to get you).
Some may call this into question by saying that most men never ended up passing their genes to our times, while most women did. This doesn't actually compromise the claim that monogamy is the default, because infant mortality has always been very high, and men would die young more often than not since they were doing risky jobs and going to war all the time. Women would end up widows while still young and fertile, so they got picked up by other men

Having been married twice and having 2 step daughters and 2 of my own, I have experienced a lot of the world in which they operate. Society seems to have convinced women that their sex organs are for literal transactions. The entitlement is sickening. Saying “no” is absolutely red rag to a bull.
My step daughter moved her boyfriend in to my home at aged 14. I said no, firmly. Her mother over rode me and allowed it. Eventually, 3 years later, she and her boyfriend were sending me to bed at 10pm because the “adults” wanted to watch television. She decided to not work and be a “housewife” in MY house and her boyfriend worked on apprentice wages. She demanded, demanded, demanded and eventually I said NO.
As you can predict, within 4 months she HATED me, said things like “I wouldn’t piss on his grave when he dies I hate him” and being incredibly disrespectful. Her mothers solution was to entirely blame me in that I shouldn’t have said no to her.
Whilst HATING me she still lived in my home, ate my food, was driven around in one of my cars, because obviously she is the boss.
