Join me in the third episode of my Algerian bikepacking journey as I wake up to stunning views from a wild camping spot overlooking the valley below. Setting out on a new route through the mountains towards Algiers, I encounter the incredible warmth of Algerian hospitality when a local generously gifts me a sweet and juicy watermelon. Along the way, I indulge in surprisingly delicious pizza in a village and navigate steep dirt roads offering breathtaking vistas. Despite a close encounter with a formidable bee or horsefly, I push through chilly temperatures and lush valleys until nightfall. Encountering a concerned local as darkness falls, I press on into the night, finding refuge in a secluded campsite. After a damp start, I journey to the coast, where I’m graciously hosted in an apartment before exploring Algiers’ vibrant streets and iconic landmarks. Don’t miss this thrilling chapter of my Algerian adventure!

Algeria is hot this time of year. Your experience would have been unforgettable if it had been in March, April or May
Welcome to Algeria my friend ❤🇩🇿
Live happily, believe me, in Algeria, no one bothers you
I'm Algerian and I do not dare to visit those mountains and spend the night alone in the open...I salute you for your courage and for showing us these beautiful places....
It's wonderful and you feel really free and liberated. You should try camping.
You scared of what, monsters?
@@YuvaJuba Wild animals...boars.. wolves.. hyenas....I have bad experience with them
@@SalahCyberDz ok. I understand but usually animals attack for a reason, and we don't have lions or bears or panthers. It's a great experience to be under the night skies looking at the heavens...
When you have a pack of wolfs looking for food you will see..
We must support this person and give him a warm welcome. This is our duty in Islam ❤❤❤
😊🙏
why you always have to mention islam ?
religion has nothing to do with this, it's just kindness of human nature
I know atheists that do more to Gaza than any muslim
also, speaking of islam, it's a religion of wars and Conquest, while enslaving women ( milk el yamine ) and allowing child marriage
Oh right bro, I enjoyed by watching his Videos & vlogs♥️
Hey. The old man was worried about you. My Algerian friend translated what he told you. He said, “Where are you going, can I help you?” Then he said: "It's not safe to ride at night, it can be dangerous to ride on a bike path in the middle of the night (probably because of the animals and the bumpy road)
Yeah, I thought so but I really wanted to get going.
You're super hero and courageous to visit difficult places
🙏😊

@@DavideTravelli you're welcome anytime, the scene that was a little funny is the horse fly or bee that bit you while you stopped to brush your teeth lol
@@madanismail1 it hurt a lot, it was just above my eye, luckily for me is not a problem after 10 minutes the pain goes away. Some people can die due to allergic reaction.
Welcome to Algeria you've been to places I my self never been before.
It's a huge country, hard to believe anyone has been able to visit to all! Shukran.
14:14 such a sweet guy , he told you * but its too dark , dont you afraid ?* he was realy concerned about your safety!
I bet you enjoy every village you visit in your own way. You are really writing a novel in your mind by meeting simple people and visiting simple shops. My girl friend from Algeria and I really want to visit her country one day she is so beautiful and i think her country would be beautiful exactly like her ❣️🇬🇧🇩🇿

Grazie mille!
I am a truck driver. How many times have I seen wolves and scorpions that I was afraid of, and once I saw an eagle
That is, this place

Hello Davide i am a French/Algerian and i am watching your videos and enjoying them, i want to do the same route with my motorbike, i wonder if you can send me your itinerary that i can do the same thing visit the same places i found them very nice. Thank you and good luck.
Hi Malik! To be honest if you do some research and planning I am sure you will find more interesting and tourist places. I just dont do any planning and decide day by day basically where to go so I wouldnt suggest to follow my trails and given the fact I'm improvising I dont really have a route to share.

Really!? You don't need a religion to teach you to be kind and welcoming.
Please this is about travelling. Let’s keep religion and politics out of it.
Welcome to Algeria brother 😀

i recommend you go from bouira to tikejda mountains and cross the lala khedjidja mountain to end up in a place called ouadhia and you can continue from there to tigzirt and go from there to Boumerdes with the road beside the sea it's a magical road in sunset. i asure you will have a wonderful time just beware of animals
Unfortunately the journey through Algeria is now already over. Visa was very short.
@@DavideTravelli then i advise u to avoid summer because it can get very hot and the green areas will became yellow. for me not that pleasent to watch. the road i told u about is best to do in march or april it would still be chilly and if you are lucky enough you will find sole snow. i always remember that image i saw, very beautiful

Bienvenue en Algérie

you welcome in Algeria . 🚴♀
What are you using for route finding, maps, navigation, cyclo comp etc? How are you planning your daily route?
I dont do much planning to be honest, I live on the road so I like to be flexible and free which has some disadvantages of course. I use my phone only and use different apps, there is perfect app. Lately I have been using mapy.cz a lot but before I used komoot and before that mapy.cz. But I have many other installed on my phone

Come to the city of Djelfa, I welcome you. This city is known for its beautiful sheep breeding and tasting of Zufiti, a famous dish specific to the region. You can get to know more about the Nawales, such as the Kabyles, and there are many mountains and plains in a city about an hour away from it called Massad... Djelfa is a low-temperature city, the temperature most of the time in the summer. 28..27 and Constantine are the least hot areas🎀

Yes, really, in our country(Algeria) a tourist is a guest. Algerians are known to be very generous. Welcome any time to our country. I don't mean to idealize our country and lift it on high above all countries, but one thing I'm sure of:many tourists(that is, guests) left it with tears as a result of the sweet memories they left behind.
Thank you for your kind welcoming.

13:24 and people say that Algeria is a desert
Bro who cares about them let them talk The are stupid
We are always scared of what we do not know. I hope may more people will have the chance to visit the wonderful country of Algeria and meet its kind and generous people. Shukran 😊
The pizza in Algeria is pretty good, especially when I discovered that in Algeria there is excellent Camembert cheese. I started to ask pizza with Camembert.
The person with the car warned you about the dangers of spending the night alone in the forest. They inquired about your destination and occupation, wondering if you were a journalist or an athlete.
I should have told him I'm a spy! 😅

Algeria, doesn't look like too bad of a place. Except for the military presence of course.
Algeria is nice and the people incredibly welcoming. Military are just doing their job and keep the country safe I suppose.
