    I don't play World of Tanks, because i'm more into realism and World of Tanks doesn't offer the amount of realism that i want. Don't get me wrong, i do not say that's necessarily a bad thing; a lot of people like the fast arcade battles of World of Tanks yet i like to stick to War Thunder (at least as long as possible before Gajin completely fucks up the game or until a better alternative emerges). However, You Tube is the place where Wargaming completely outclasses Gajin in terms of entertainment. I really enjoy watching your videos; they are fantastic, plus, you've got quite a large variety of different types of videos, e.g Inside the Tanks, Inside the Chieftains Hatch and of course this documentary series here. Gajin has nothing similar to offer in terms of quality. Keep up the good work!

      well Gaijin only have around 100 people working on the game while Wargaming have thousands. thats why they can make a more entertaining video about tanks in general

      I'm glad someone else understands
      WoT is related to Blitzkrieg or Blitz having to fight as fast as possible
      But I like war thunder better, it's more strategic in a way

    I was more interested in the driver than the loader tbh. I know that T-34 drivers were kicked on the left or right shoulder, depending on where the commander wants them to do, but I don't have a clue how it works on other tanks :P

      Most tanks at the time had an internal radio system so the crew could communicate effectively within the confines of a vehicle space, especially with a loud engine droning against the back of the fighting compartment. Some tanks, German vehicles for example, had an external radio mounted, so infantry supporting the tank could communicate with the tank commander and direct them to targets with out exposing either fellows to sniper fire by the soldier climbing to the turret or the commander having to pop out to speak. The T-34 example was mainly due to the fact that early versions lacked any radios at all, even for the crew.

    5:00 pretty sure that's not true, the k2, the type 90 and the type 10 have autoloaders ascwell, and these tanks all went in production already and in active service. (acording to wikipedia)

    • @yeetosyeeterofyeet1825

      The gunner uses a special scope and he traverses the turret or elevates or brings down the gun
      Then he presses the fire button

    Driving the T34 is hell, its awful the poor driver has to stop the tank just to recover some strength. Plus the tank cant fire on the move at all, it bonces all over the place and plus the gun optics are not that good. The was ok-ish had ok armour untill 1942, but for the crew it was awful thats why most of the people I talked who was in a T34 laughed when people say the T34 is an amazing tank whereas in their eyes it isnt because a lot of people died in them.

      +mohd alif SPG is self propelled gun and every tank without turret that have only artillary cannon on hull is SPG. So called tank destroyers are almost same as SPG but in game they are two type tanks.

    since when t34 is legendary? it was cannon fodder only relying to cheap produce to outnumbering the enemy, which is good if you dont care to sacrifice thousands of lifes.
    i understand war is bloody and all that, but legendary tank should be "awarded" to tanks with high K/D ratios that performed brilliantly with as few casualties possible. t34 can only show off being target practice for enemy tanks until the infantry close enough to burn them...

    • @ethanrowland3671

      It practically saved Russia thats why

    • @gchatz6480
      @gchatz6480 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      sorry but no, soviet defence always relied to sacrificing its vast lands, resources and human lives to give time to winter to exterminate the opposition.
      instead of t34 the soviets would be using a carriage with a cannon and still "save russia"

    • @foughtwolf

      +Giorgos Chatziioannou (LezantasGR34T)
      Except that isnt true. The T34 was revolutionary at its time, and it took Germany quite some time to design a tank able to crack them with ease. Yes, by that time there were enough t34's to negate losses this is true, but because of its shocking start and Germany's scramble to design a killer for them, the numbers were sufficiently bolstered.
      Hell, why do you think the Panther used sloping armor, none of the previous German tanks did. Its because of the T34.

    • @rmsb1984
      @rmsb1984 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      T34 was legendary because it did save Russia. It presented the effectivity of slop armor, wide tread, diesel engine and simplicity. It was simple and easy to make the ratio of production is always more. You can't always present the lives that were sacrifice in your debate. My former girlfriend's grandfather who died during world war 2 was a farm boy before he was asked to drive a tank. Their tank commander used to work as a switchboard operator not even a year before Operation Barbarossa initiated. Even women and kids participate in tank production and even mine deployment. (In the battlefield's logic, life is just something that you can spend anyway.)
      Compare that to well-fed and well-educated germans. Even two german soldier would be able to annihilate a platoon of Soviet soldiers.
      As for the T-34 it was able to do it's role efficiently more than what was expected even compare to other tank of it's weight class.
