a computer works basically just by bits sending a signal or not sending a signal, making a code, 0 or 1.. Thats how redstone works too, it either signals or it doesnt, so you can literally build another computer in minecraft and play minecraft in minecraft.. in theory though... the original computer has to be better than the computer you build in the computer.. but basically just minecraft mechanics are limitless, you can always scale up.. a brain also works that simple, just trillions and trillions of nerve cells either fires or not fires, so you could build a concious brain with redstone

He didn't know they'd used the maps and looked up if anyone had done it to give credit. Also that's just a generic scientist skin that cubfan happens to use, so I find it unlikely that he watches hermitcraft.
I can't see how those two facts could be related. I'm not saying he doesn't watch hermitcraft. Just saying that your logic doesn't make sense. I do think he is aware of hermitcraft though. After the Creative builder Grian started there and blew up, I'm sure Jaracraft would want a similar path.

build idea: mushroom fairy/dwarf/elf village in the forest with a huge mushroom fortress! (i know it's silly but i think it would be pretty cool). Edit: i know he's already done a mushroom cavern but this one would be kinda hidden in the forest and not its own dimension. And yes, it could be like a much nicer and detailed mushroom biome

You don’t have to actually go through all the work of placing all those blocks, you can just put an image in the map file, and use /give in game to get it. There are plenty of tutorials online, and websites to make the process seamless

i also used this map trick to completely hide pressure plates and blend areas for redstone jumpscares so that they don't try avoiding it. Map : *The pumpkin redstone horror map* There is also a downside It doesn't blend along with the lighting effect or lights itself depending on the color of the map Even tho, it's still look pretty cool I'm glad i'm not the only one who knows about these map tricks

Or you can just use an image editor and replace the ingame maps. There are generators for this too. For example you could use this online tool to convert your image to an 8-Bit Minecraft Map: mc-map.djfun.de/
Im not sure how Jera manages. These videos are of such high production quality and so much work actually goes into it that gets featured for a coulpe of seconds... I don't follow this channel but every time i stumble upon one of these videos im simply amazed at how he does this..

One way to create cool textures without downloading mods or texture packs. Thank you, Jeracraft. Now all I have to do is painstakingly learn how to make these cuz I'm a noob at these things
Just a warning for people who want to use custom art as custom textures, it can cause a lot of lag when you put them around the same area so there’s a limit to how much you can actually use. Also, if you’re not good at map art, there’s websites that have image to map converters. A trick that I like to do with custom map art is putting the map against pressure plates or glass then putting a light source behind it to make an invisible light source.

I’ve been working on a shield helicarrier and really wanted a way to make the shield logo to make it as close to perfect as possible now I know how to do it!
I spent a lot of time last year making Game Boy pixel art maps that people on the server I play could use to decorate their houses. I made about 20 or so that I displayed in a big Game Boy shaped build, called Game Boy museum. The people of the server loved it. The black and white nature of those made it bearable to build because otherwise, trying to work with colours can become overwhelming quickly, doing everything by hand (no hacking tools to modify the world itself but placing pixels down one by one, in survival no less).
My reactions: Like the a animation version of your character talking. Also the map was a fun idea I seen a lot in other places. You getting into the power of maps is awesome.

If anyone wants to make a secret base using snow item frames, I reccomend just placing scaffolding with a snow layer on top. If you stand on it and crouch, you'll pass through the scaffolding. Saves you a lot of time, and also it's less noticeable and not everyone will just fall trough.
