    This is the best explanation about USB4, TB3 and TB4 I have seen so far on the tube!! At last, I understand what it is all about and why TB4 exist even though the specs look similar!!!

    Great timing of this upload. Coincidentally I just ordered my Predator 500 SE, specifically the 3080 and i9 version.
    How are you liking it? It's my first ACER and I'm usually a dell not Alienware kind of guy. I regularly upgrade my components and am upgrading from a 1060 maxq.

    Hi, just want to say thanks for this rich info video. I knew TB4 when it was out, but I did not notice all these details about it. Really useful video. I was thinking of getting a TB3 hub, but now I'm now gonna look for TB4 hubs because of all the benefits it has.

    Can you link me to a thunderbolt 4 thing to connect my microphone to and my USB headset etc, and a monitor please considering my zephyrus g14 doesnt come with it, Im returning my stuff to ryzen just stepped onto a gem of a laptop instead of the g14 even tho it runs well

    Sorry, still confused. If I have my GTX3090 Graphics card, which has a DisplayPort cable going to my new Ultrasharp 4k screen, what is the Thunderbolt4 coming from my PC to my screen going to get me? Will it power up my USB ports on my monitor which now do not work?

      it means three things; data transfer upto 1GB/ sec, charging upto 100watts and connecting to two 4k displays at 60hz by daisy chaining them or a single 8k display.

      i find it useful because i can use a imac as target display with a windows laptop with thunderbolt 4.

    what is push button overclocking, and how is that possible. I thought if you did any over clocking you have to change all kinds of stuff. is that TRUE OVERCLOCKING

    My 10 gig ethernet thunderbolt adapters do not work if there is a hub or dock involved.

    It's lowercase "b" for bits and uppercase "B" for bytes, which makes all of your charts wrong. Nobody should still be getting this wrong.

      Apple is licensing the tech from Intel.
      "...manufacturers have to pay Intel to certify this and use the Thunderbolt 4 name..."

    When talking about thunderbolt everyone say about VIDEO and NOT body is talking about AUDIO which is very IMPORTANT these days. I got a laptop with only thunderbolts and NO HDMI. Feeling bad. Because now i can't connect to SOUND BAR and enjoy DOLBY ATMOS for Home Theatre. If any one knows how to connect to soundbar let me know. Thanks

    Okay, 10k footage. But it's wasted money in my opinion. The device being able to show 8k content are so rare. In most of the cases you can't even see a difference from 4k as a normal consumer.

      The main benefits with 8K 60hz is that it implies 144hz high refresh 4K which is what most people would actually use. The 8K 60hz is just a byproduct of the 4K 144hz compatibility and an extra cool feature to play around with if you happen to gain access to an 8K TV.
