    Freshman in college, have to make decision soon. Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering... and now this happens! I just hope that if I pursue ASE, I can get a job with NASA or SpaceX or Lockheed Martin or all of them. :D

      ***** That's usually how all my missions end when I'm playing KSP!

      Vault Boy
      Orbiter Space Flight simulator is more realistic than Kerbal Space Program. Earth is full sized too, as well as all other solar system objects.

      Very true. I've played Orbiter before, and I've also played Realism Overhaul mod for KSP. The mod makes KSP kind of like Orbiter, but it's very hard to play, at least for me.

    This is great and all. Just would of happened a lot sooner had there been more interest in the science and exploration of space from citizens. Its kinda pathetic that all you see in the news is bad news, and focus on terrorism, and oil, and money. It would be nice to open the paper one day and just read about all the amazing discoveries that we made as a species that day. And have that be peoples focus.

    ORION IS TINY THE CREW CANT EVEN MOVE AROUND

    • @Arthur-wp8ds
      @Arthur-wp8ds 9 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      Orion is only for 21 days max. For long missions it will dock with a transfer unit which allows for housing and mobility.

      @BG213121 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      so was the previous SV but big deal? I don't understand the issue besides the orion can carry 6 crew

    • @BG213121
      @BG213121 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael P Returns and ISS trips. It still holds plenty of room for 21 days sustained in it. So it's multipurpose.

      It's the SLS capable craft Dragon and CST-100 aren't designed for interplanetary flight.

    • @David-bl8lf
      @David-bl8lf 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +RAJ JAR you asked this a year ago lol, but i think its the orion connected to a habitation module and some other stuff. journey to mars would take 500 days, and the orion can cover 21 days so they need to have a habitation module

  • @Pawl1957

    I see the new movie The martian isn't very accurate a persons body would be near 1/2 of what it's weight would be on earth so they'd be doing the bunny hop like they did on the moon.
