They discuss how her short testimony stating that Johnny did not in fact push her down some stairs may have swung the momentum in Johnny's favour. They also discuss the rest of the trial and how 'revolting' it is to watch. Her sister didn’t even give the same account- she said JD ran up behind her, whilst Amber said he was between her and her sister facing the stairs. They couldn’t even get their stories straight!

Well that judge has a son that worked for a sister company of the SUN. His wife also knew Amber heard and even went out to dinner with her before. The case was rigged from the start. Pretty sure the judge even retired shortly after the case. There was literally no way johnny could have won. Glad he finally won in the US though.
Everyone forgets that the UK trial was Johnny VS THE SUN, not Johnny VS AMBER. Amber was just a witness in that case and Johnny could not bring all the evidence he brought in this court because it was irrelevant to the case. Obviously Amber used her power as his former partner to smear his name in that trial. So far, Johnny's only chance to bring up evidence was the recent Virginia trial.
I don't think the UK system is to be blamed about this although it is true that a lot of hearsay is allowed in the UK
First of all the UK trial had nothing to do with the knucklehead Amber it was Johnny Depp suing the sun newspaper also the judges son owns the sun newspaper so it was corrupt to begin with that never would’ve happened in America!
The worst part of this is the damage Amber has done to the cause of women who have really suffered abuse.

As dirty as this trial was to watch, the reason why Johnny wanted it televised is because he wanted the world to know the TRUTH. Amber's side tried to prevent it from being televised multiple times. He was willing to let the world hear embarrassing little details about his life as long as the TRUTH ABOUT AMBER (and what REALLY happened) came out.

Despite her big heartbreak (because JD and Kate broke up and after 2 weeks he started dating French actress and she got pregrant and Kate went to rehab) It was Kate's biggest heartbreak and if she was a payback character she could have even lie to drag JD for revenge(like Amber did) but she did not. That shows Kate's true personality and I hope she's in a happy place now. and no I dont want her to get together with JD because it can end up as a heartbreak again as he needs to solve his addiction problems. It can even trigger Kate's addiction problems so they better be friends. Love them both seperately btw and their 90's pictures are so inspiring.

He’s a long history of violent behaviour and has admitted many times to resorting violence. The public and the press are spewing hate for a younger actress with absolutely joy power. Why didn’t Johnny take his money, his bodyguards his drugs and booze and leave her? Women are always asked why they didn’t leave. They’re quite often trauma bonded to the abuser. He assaulted them before they even married, victims of VSA think things will change, but they don’t .
