Pretty sure anything that makes the bombs explode and not fall offscreen with a :( face counts as not wasting a bomb, so hitting stage hazards like the cowboys is fine but the pepperman doodles isn’t since it doesn’t explode for whatever reason
vigilante can easily be cheesed (pun not intended) by throwing a bomb at the wall he's going to as he's running to that side after being hit, then throw another bomb as he loses invincibility to hit him before he gets a chance to attack. it requires good timing but it's not that hard and makes this fight way easier. also, for the fights that don't require bombs, you dont have to use the drill attack. you can also just ground pound on them, use the noise crusher, or uppercut them. you can also just mach run into them
That tactic I figured it out too when I was P ran... Wasteless ranking him,but after a while he gets quicker and you need to time the bombs much quicker or he escapes the bombarding.
Here is a tip for the Pizzahead 2nd phase boss fight. I notice that he gets faster every time he runs from left to right, so it’s easier to hit him with the bombs in time before the bombs explode when you are confident enough to risk it
I decided to challenge myself and got the clothes by defeating the Doise normally and let me tell you dodging the bouncing rocks in the second phase is awful
Advice for the pepperman fight: stand right next to the wall and use the groundpound, on the phase where pepperman usually would turn around, he'd instead hit the wall like the first phase, the timing is trickier on the second stage of his fight due to more objects being thrown around, but with enough practice, it can save some time.
in my frist try to the doise i got the costume anti-doise tip:if taunting 3 times you can revive the doise so get the costume without cheating. to get the anti-doise costume you need to beat the doise without wasting bombs

SPOILERS FOR THE END OF THE GAME/NEW BOSS: if you breakdance on doises corpse during the boss rush you get the doise costume, that gives you his clothes and skin tone

It's actually still a decent challenge on the final boss, took me around 30 minutes because Peppino's boss rush is much harder than the Noise's
