I wish bass cat wouldn't include the sponsons on their length. I know why they do it, higher hp ratings, but it makes them seem like bigger boats than they really are. 75" front deck on a 20'7" boat is short. The Puma and Lynx are really only 20' from nose to transom. The Eyra is like 19'6" from nose to transom and has almost the same front deck space as my 18'7" champion. The Cougar is 19'8". No wonder they are so damn fast. Needlessly large back decks and cockpits are the norm today. I don't like it. I was hoping they would have ditched the net scabbard too. Rear storage is not important to me. I don't want to have to go to the back deck to get tackle because there isn't enough room up front.

However, I must say, if you are going to show off the new gorgeous Puma STS, why on earth would you show it with that beautiful reflex deck covered in dirty footprints? Also, you may want to oil that back hinge. Also, when you open up the rear decklid you can hear the hinge squeak. It's pretty loud and that's not going to help promote these boats. Please don't take this the wrong way. I'm just trying to help sell these boats.

Agreed some of their designs are stupid. I’m not spending money on a bass boat to have a large back deck I want a large front deck
