KFTL Upgrades

In April 2015, the Government of Jamaica, through the Port Authority of Jamaica (PAJ) and CMA CGM, concluded a 30-year Concession Agreement.
Through this agreement, the Kingston Freeport Terminal Limited (KFTL), a subsidiary of CMA CGM, assumed responsibility in July 2016 for the management and development of the Kingston Container Terminal.
KFTL’s mandate includes the expansion and improvement of the port’s infrastructure, the upgrading of IT facilities and the acquisition and upgrading of operating equipment. Here are highlights of some of the developments so far.
