      Still a raps fan and always will be. Doesn’t change the fact that DeRozan has been and always will be my favourite player. When I first started ball, I modelled my own game after DeRozan. Till this day, when nothing else works, I’ll go for the midrange shots and till this day it hasn’t failed me. My username in some online games was even Lil_DeRozan.

Demar was 16 when he started to study kobe and his game and eventually trained with him. I think it’s fair to say the Kobe comparison makes sense lol

    This is likely (but not certainly) going to wind up as the greatest game of his career, considering context. He looked like Kobe, just a magical performance. Props to him and the Bulls for being so competitive, they definitely believe they can win this series.

    Hell of a bounce back game for DeMar. Only 6-25 in game 1. Shoots 14-31 in game 2. He didn’t let his horrible shooting performance in game 1 rattle his confidence. He’s had playoff demons in the past during his time with the Raptors & Spurs, but I believe he’ll exercise them. But it really depends on how far they go. But DeMar killed in this game.

    Was crazy was there was at least four to five times that Giannis antetokounmpo was guarding DeMar DeRozan and he fouled DeMar DeRozan and modern Rose and made the shot and they didn't even call the + 1 that's the only thing that scares me about the NBA there's some players on certain nights they won't even look at them and they do the most dirt just because they're all stars

    Coach Pop really did change him and unlocked his Mamba Mentality. He just couldn’t do it on the Spurs cause he had to carry that team and do everything. From being the main scorer while at the same time being their main facilitator.

You can look up his numbers from his Raptor days to his Spur days. He's become more efficient on the Spurs. During his prime (2013-14 to 2017-18) with the Raptors his career average in field goal percentage was 44.5% while when he was on the Spurs he never dropped below 48% and posted a career average 50.1%. On his second year with the Spurs he was shooting 53% from the field. That's crazy efficiency compared to his Raptor days. He became a way better playmaker overtime on the Spurs too, averaging 6.2 assists with them vs his 4.2 assists average with the Raptors. You can't convince me Pop didn't change him when the numbers literally show it. He is the first Spurs player IN HISTORY to average 20PPG, 5APG, 5RPG.

    & the boy went 8-9 with 16 points with Giannis as the primary defender. DeRozan just gets buckets. I’m a Chicago fan & I had to listen to casuals tell me he was the worst FA signing of the summer, then the dude has the best season he’s ever had, people are crazy. But real talk, I’m happy to see Lavine willing to take a backseat to Demar too, it helps the team. Too bad Ball isn’t playing right now otherwise beating Milwaukee would be a serious possibility if not already.
