I love this show, and the Matt and Davin, seem like genuinely nice guys and know what they're doing. Well you brought a smile to John's face, at least he can enjoy the truck again, sorry to hear about his wife.
My uncle has had his 33 brothers pickup for as long as I can remember. Pearl White paint with a candy metallic bronze accent on the fender and running boards. God it's so beautiful. Built up 340 4 speed truck.
loved the show.. wish it was longer and a bit of how 2... I've had my 62 nova for 14 years and have never been able to get it back on the road because of bad circumstances.. see shows like this help me dream again..
Now this is a Top notch car you have, sir John. I love it ! I'm about the same age as you are and when I was a teen, I had ALL of the Hot Rods magazines and I was dreaming of someday, I'd build my own. You built exactly the one I always wanted even down with the color! Again, congratulations, sir. PS Sorry for your late Wife. RIP.
When the truck is outside there is a new puddle under the engine... oil? gas? A sunlight trick?? However, great show and even better gift to gentleman John. Good luck with the show! Thank you.
Good road to you, know that if I see you smiling, it is that we are both alive. The sound of the V8 will not replace our sorrows for those who have fallen on my beaches so that I can write you his few words. Long life has you my friend and brother forever.
Thank you... I lost my wife to cancer and they thought it was the flu... She was only 38 years old and yes, I had to sell my 27 T to pay for her service.
I noticed the front and rear carb had idle circuits. I thought the engine only ran on the center carb, until you get into the throttle. Are the carbs incorrect? Only the center carb should have an idle circuit.
So this same truck sold last Fall at Volo Auto Museum. The old fella in this video put about 10K more miles on it. It was a proven runner. I have a '35 Dodge pick up that looks the same (not Screaming Yellow, though) also has the baby Hemi engine. Those valve cover bolts go right into the water jacket! Hope they sealed those threads.
wow cool, you guys need to go down to McAllen , Texas and look up Mr. Gene Cheever and help him get his !932 Bantam roadster back on the road and my T bucket he lives at 1613 falcon ave.
Only thing is that it's too short and they don't talk about the motor, what it is and stuff, which you can tell its a hemi, but I want to know more so please make this show longer and it would be the greatest show on here or in my opinion anyways.
How do I make contact with these guys? I have a super unique and cool car that is dead for the last year, but she would love a set of experts to help her out! My son misses her, and so does my wife, as it's her super cool 89 VW Fox wagon!
Here again, With 3 duces pooring fuel in to a gas gusseling hemi if the intake one of the intake manifold gaskets is misaligned it would't take to many miles of driving before this gas in oil problem reoccures.
This is a great series, but the camera must pickup a lot more of the metal glint than the naked eye. That's seems like an awful lot of debris to be sitting in the bottom of the pan or the filter. Or am I crazy? -Russ
Please stop using fram oil filters. They are the worst garbage. I don't trust them for a car that is going to the scrap yard. OEM filters like Mopar, Motorcraft, and ACDelco are just as inexpensive but are much higher quality.
Pennzoil? Really? I would never run that crap oil in a lawn mower, much less in a hot rod! I've been inside a Pennzoil motor, scary stuff! So much wax and carbon, and it gums up everything! Oil should lubricate an engine, not lock it up! And Fram Oil Filters, Talk about Mechanic's deadly sins! Wax and Cardboard, good way to screw up an engine!
Boy my heart goes out to this man.
I love this show. Hagerty, you all are putting out some quality content
Wicked no fake drama no sellout BS just car guys wrenching! Cheers
Sweeeeeet Dodge Hemi Hot Rod Pickup..!! Cruise it in memory of His Late Wife... RIP
Why can"t all car show be like this? No fake drama just cars and wrenching. The way it should be.
moto patlo
Another one back in its natural habitat... the streets! Welcome to the family, John.
I love this show, and the Matt and Davin, seem like genuinely nice guys and know what they're doing. Well you brought a smile to John's face, at least he can enjoy the truck again, sorry to hear about his wife.
Davin is a tremendous mechanic. Matt is worth having around as well.👍😄
My uncle has had his 33 brothers pickup for as long as I can remember. Pearl White paint with a candy metallic bronze accent on the fender and running boards. God it's so beautiful. Built up 340 4 speed truck.
great series but I think it deserves longer, more how-to, videos
John Hartley - I like the short and sweet, video format.

loved the show.. wish it was longer and a bit of how 2... I've had my 62 nova for 14 years and have never been able to get it back on the road because of bad circumstances.. see shows like this help me dream again..
That is one beautiful pickup, the attention to detail was fantastic.
Great viewing. What a well detailed Mopar truck with HEMi engine too. Nice story. Enjoy John

Very nice I have a 35 coupe with a new LS engine sitting beside it for a year. I must bring myself back to life also, and get it going

1:18 1:35 thumbs up for the director and the crew members for the shoot
Never use a fram oil filter Good video Thanks
Maverick Just not the cheap ones.
Great job Guy's, sweet old Dodge.
Thank you...
I lost my wife to cancer and they thought it was the flu...
She was only 38 years old and yes, I had to sell my 27 T to pay for her service.
Les Landry
sorry to hear about the misses man
my condolences sir
M Whitelaw thank you

Good job, guys!
Great story. Good job. :)
I like those magnetic valve cover gaskets...
Awesome Viewing!!!
GREAT VIDEO !!!
That's quite a nifty truck.
Awesome video guys.
I like your work sir.
I noticed the front and rear carb had idle circuits. I thought the engine only ran on the center carb, until you get into the throttle. Are the carbs incorrect? Only the center carb should have an idle circuit.
The carbs are Stromberg 97's that were originally singles on flathead Fords, all three had mixture screws.
Good day from Singapore! Wishing you'd have a wonderful evening =)

Suuupppppppeeerrr 👍👍❗️
WOW memory's of a love one with cars. thats great. but why do you show me an early Hemi but not tell me which early Hemi it is?
omg, old Biff Tannen!!!
wow cool, you guys need to go down to McAllen , Texas and look up Mr. Gene Cheever and help him get his !932 Bantam roadster back on the road and my T bucket he lives at 1613 falcon ave.
The fram filters are junk there cheap made out of cardboard that falls apart use other filters like wix bosh even STP makes a better filter then fram
Rusty sprocket repair the fixx Even worse, they put Pennzoil in that HEMI! Pennzoil now guarantees an engine replacement later!
But what was the problem? In the beginning they said the fuel pump wasn't the problem, and it was the carbs, but ... what was the problem?
awesome
Nice
beast men
good jobe
Why was fuel in the oil? or did i miss something )))
Carb was stuck dumping fuel through
Only thing is that it's too short and they don't talk about the motor, what it is and stuff, which you can tell its a hemi, but I want to know more so please make this show longer and it would be the greatest show on here or in my opinion anyways.
That crappy Fram filter.....just....why?!
How do I make contact with these guys? I have a super unique and cool car that is dead for the last year, but she would love a set of experts to help her out! My son misses her, and so does my wife, as it's her super cool 89 VW Fox wagon!
I live in geneva ohio and have a 54 pontiac that I would like to get back on the road.
Wow, three pedals?
fram??? wtf
The Frenchmen
Great video Matt and Davin as always ! I take it you are going to stop producing generation gap video's ?
back when u can tune your cars by yourself
I'm i loco in my cabasa? I don't see or hear them address the gas in the oil problem????
Here again, With 3 duces pooring fuel in to a gas gusseling hemi if the intake one of the intake manifold gaskets is misaligned it would't take to many miles of driving before this gas in oil problem reoccures.

❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍
Love old Hemi style engines.
Lousy MPG but who the heck cares?
Please stop using fram oil filters. They are the worst garbage. I don't trust them for a car that is going to the scrap yard. OEM filters like Mopar, Motorcraft, and ACDelco are just as inexpensive but are much higher quality.
there was a youtuber name chad haire and he always insult everybody that owns hot rod or classic cars including my cars.
Pennzoil? Really? I would never run that crap oil in a lawn mower, much less in a hot rod! I've been inside a Pennzoil motor, scary stuff! So much wax and carbon, and it gums up everything!
